    You should look into having a bracket cut by a machine shop so you can mount a trailer hitch/ball connection, considering the cargo you are carrying....

    I scored a trailer the same as your second one and have been pondering the exact same thing for my dog. I've been oscillating between deciding where and how to mount it, and 'am I completely nuts' for even considering it. You have inspired me to make an attempt. Good stuff!

      It's great to hear I could inspire you. Yes, you're a little crazy for even trying. But it's totally awesome when you get it! Unlocks new capabilities for sure! Which EUC do you have/mounting to? Did you try it yet, because I would love to hear updates?

      @@eucfamily I'm currently riding a version 4 T4, I love for its agile nature because I ride a lot of MTB trails. I'm not sure it would be the ideal wheel for towing though. I plan on getting an Extreme some time soon, it would be more suited to towing. Thing is neither of them have a frame structure like your V13, I would have to manufacture something, for me not an issue being a retired engineer but I'll wait until I get the Extreme and then see if still feel that crazy to do it 😆

    A guy just asked me about this exact thing on my channel. Shared him to your channel. I also see I'm not subscribed. Fixing that NOW.

    this is a great step for euc. the capability of pulling something is what makes it interesting for lots of other operations.
    in my considerations i often came to the conclusion to integrate a brake on the trailer for more safety. there are trailers on the market (eu) with brakes. you could detach only the controller/hand-part and if the cable is long enough (maybe renewal necessary) take it in your hand. use the trailer brake to pull the euc and make it start breaking by itself, be careful. with a lot of trainig at the right spots (meaning inclines) I think it would be the safest option specially for heavier loads. I didn't tested it myself so in don't know completely if it works, so be careful if you test it.

      Thanks Batman! Aka Bruce Wayne. I agree, brakes would be awesome, especially on declines. Much safer especially with heavy weight. I think an EUC trailer 3.0 is in the making when my son graduates to his own EUC.

    Have you tried using the metal attachment instead of the strap only?

    • @eucfamily
      @eucfamily  Рік тому

      Yes, but I wanted to mount it to the middle for balance, and did not see anywhere to attach it. Let me know if you try and have success?

    Looks loke a sensible way to make a trip to the grocery store and not have to pack everything you buy into your backpack.

    It looks like you need to find a professional trailer hitch installer
