Thunderbolt 1000X update video 2

- The progress on the mini thunderbolt has been slow going but it’s 90% done! With the blower finalized, I pretty much just have to sort out the various controls and delays to get the siren functioning in the exact manner I want it too. Some engineering sacrifices had to be made, as they usually have to when modeling the more complex sirens; but I don’t believe that has resulted in any negative effects to the sirens overall performance.
SPECIAL THANKS TO: snowcube - for the interesting port ratio idea which definitely resulted in one of the most interesting sounding thunderbolt I think thus far! Check out his channel for more siren content!
That second "chopper" for the blower is a really neat and ingenious concept.

this is literally revolutionary... i've never seen any level of detail or sound quality in a mini siren

I would *love* to hire you to build me a Thunderbolt, Connor. Can’t wait for when you’re ready to produce them!!
WOW! this is honestly one of the best sounding mini sirens I've ever heard! great job!
Please let me know the moment you release it! Also, are you thinking about making attack timers and controllers for these?
The 6M pulse is absolutely amazing, and it even sounded like a real 6M Thunderbolt when it was running
3/5, neat! Hoping for a 4/6 sometime :D
I love it!
By the way I have to ask how often do you restock on average (not being rude or anything just a general question) because I’ve been interested on your creations recently.
The quality of your newer models is crazy. The thunderbolt and Chrysler are looking great
Lol I can definitely say my skill has improved quite a bit from where I started at boyo
That second sound sounded like a 4/5 Port Thunderbolt if Federal was making prototypes before releasing the 4/5 Port Variants
I love the progress you’ve made with the X! Looking and sounding amazing!
this looks great! I reccomend a long horn tho, but other than that, perfect!
Jolly good show!, for a mini Thunderbolt it packs a punch. The 3/5 rotor is half the ports of the 6/10 Decot prototype siren.
If you were to make 2/3, 3/4 rotors would sound good to being the lowest number of port combos which make the 8/12 perfect 5th & 9/12 perfect 4th sounds & a 6/7 rotor for a mechanical ACA AL4000 sound. 4/8 would make an octave like in Sentry sirens. 5/8 would make a minor 6th interval like heard in the 10/16 Decot Red Arrows.
Awesome work , I liked it better 4/5 because those are the only thunderbolts I care for but still great work
that is so cool btw when are you going to restock the sirens
Very cool. Have you thought about scaling things up a bit to get more sound pressure out of it?
Eventually when I get a larger printer I'll be working on making my models MUCH bigger than I currently do. But for right now my models are made for those who don't have the space or neighbors for anything bigger
This is pretty awesome! I wish I had the equipment and knowledge of building a thunderbolt. I'm looking forward to more videos like these! If you do have a chance to build multiple, do you think you can do an ambience video?
Glad to see progress on it! Hope to buy one in the future
Hey I’m silent65gaming don’t know if you will remember me I see that you use speed controller and was wondering what speed controllers you use?
It'd be real interesting to hear what a 4/6 port chopper would sound like.
Basically the same as a P-50 but with fewer ports. Instead of 8/12 Port it’s cut in half to 4/6 Port.
This is pretty damn impressive, love the work on it! I do have one tip though, I think you should try and make the horn just a little bit longer. Other than that I think it's amazing and I love the way it functions and sounds!
I have another port idea. 5/8
And just think Connor, this awesome model is just the beginning! (I think ya know what I'm talking about) ;)
also, is it just me or at the 9:18 mark I hear a... dare I say...echo?!
7/12 rotor and a 8/10 port
Jesus dude these models you make are amazing! I do however notice the horn seems a tad too small compared to the rest of the siren. Great work man, I'll definitely have to invest in ur models one day lol!
I got the mssg abt this while recording my city’s Medic Responding to a medical emergency call but the 1000X is looking quite nice so far too
DUDE this is fricking sick!
You should sell these masterpieces
Are solenoids in the future a possibility?
Ever Though about selling the thunderbolts but now as products? Just asking? Probably I know it would be hard! With blower and that type of stuff! But I hope one day you can!
I want one....can't wait to see how you do.
when will you be listing more sirens on your etsy page?
Are you going to add in a time delay relay?
Can you do 4/6
Hey Connor, I was just wondering if you could make me a ACA hurricane siren with solenoids
I ❤ Aca hurricanes
That will be awesome
Make a 10/12 port chopper for it! I kinda wonder what it would sound like.
10/12 Port would ironically be the same sound as the 5/6 Port just more chopper ports. Look at the 2T22 for example.

Are you going to be selling this model of siren?
Nice I'm trying to make a full sized thunderbolt 1000t siren
Good luck with that.
