    We are now doing weekly aerial flyovers depending on the support that we get. Our cost range from pilot fees to rental fees of the Cessna 172 that is used for the flyovers over the sites.

    Regarding finishing a road where liquid oxygen is offloaded: "When liquid oxygen spills, it vaporizes into the air, as the atmosphere is far too warm to support it in liquid form. As it vaporizes, it creates a dense cloud of concentrated oxygen... It also soaks into organic material such as asphalt...
    If a vehicle drives over asphalt that has been impregnated by liquid oxygen, the impact of the tires on the oxygen-enriched asphalt causes a massive explosion.

    For the destructive tests, I’d say that following the first test flight they have reviewed their design and come up with some improvements to make construction lighter and faster. So now they are testing their revised manufacturing.

    Theory on the Test-to-Fail of S26.1: S26 may be the prototype for a fuel tanker that will one day spend all it time in LEO, GTO, GSO, or MSO for Starship flight to the MOON and beyond. This means the ship will spend most of its life at Sub-Zero temperatures full of cryo-fuel. Cryo endurance of its structural integrity is essential.

    Really appreciate the birds eyeview perspective! Could you also cover the area to the right of the build site, towards the village? It seems to have a bunch of interesting stuff.

    Thanks to keep flying along with these updates. I do wonder if the hot stage section has locks to keep it in place. It didn't give me impression it was actually being held down by anything. Was there workers on top lossing it up so it could be removed? The thing would fly off I would think if it wasn't fastened to the Booster's crown.

      It uses the hooks that were used on the first test flight that held the ship on the booster to hold itself onto B9 and then has hooks on top to hold S25

    I was expecting the HS-Ring to be removed, as they did have issues with the Ship stacking - possibly some elements were not quite right.

      Same here. They need to inspect it and/or scan it for stress cracking.

      Aren't the motors and batteries for the grid fins and avionics under there? I'll bet those need to be inspected and batteries swapped/charged.

    I would fly over when the water deluge system is running or testing. I ask this since during the construction of star factory, water run off is not qiute remembered being their. This all ties into what Fish people needs this info since It does not afft the area from what I see

  • @spacemanmat
    @spacemanmat 7 місяців тому

    Don’t think they’ll test deluge system again till environmental recertification has occurred.

    Hey, is there a way that can stack nose cones on top of each other? Just like emptying those cones without anything inside. Like. Stack it on top of each other. And Can't they just walls around the tanks

    That's the worst of a space base can be, in full of dust, surrounded by swamps and gators. Looks like drug factory of cartel.

    • @peekaboo2022zy
      @peekaboo2022zy 7 місяців тому

      Other space companies build the factory first, then build the rocket inside. SpaceX designs the factory around the rocket, both are perfectly reasonable choices. Although I personally prefer SpaceX's approach since we can actually see what's going on this way haha.

      I'm guessing despite your urge to pretend you have NO idea what the sites of other launch complexes were like before they started building.

    • @EthanTheEx
      @EthanTheEx 7 місяців тому

      @@TheEvilmooseofdoom No you're right, I really don't know a thing. My expectation was clean room level hygiene and engineers in masks-overalls working around. And lastly a more pre-planned factory.
      But I am aware this is more of an R&D project.
