Why would anybody who's not a packer fan live in Green Bay?
Well, my late grandmother wasn't in Green Bay, but in the Rapids with enough Packers fans. She was a Saints gal (as is the rest of my family). She had a bit of fun with the evil eyes from Packers fans

I spent a day in Green Bay a few months ago, and while exploring the city I stopped at several sights along the Packers Heritage Trail, which was actually pretty interesting, even as someone who roots for another team (I live in Seattle).
Green Bay has barely 100,000 people - by far the smallest in the NFL - and yet they field a team that is routinely competitive. The support that the folks in Green Bay show for their team is pretty impressive.
What's also amazing is that they've managed to stay competitive despite being the only publicly-owned team in this day and age.
To be fair though, the Packers' fan base extends WAY farther than just Green Bay. They have pretty much the entire state of Wisconsin under their ropes, and Packer fans pretty much line up across any major US city. I don't know how they do it, but they manage to charm plenty of people who've never even set foot in Wisconsin. Maybe the Lambeau mystique is real.

I live in Green Bay. My son cuts lawn and snow blows for numerous Packer players. I use to do the same for Ray Nitschke as a kid. I also use to bag groceries at the local meat market. I got to meet coach Lombardi, Bart Starr, and a lot of other players. The Packer players from sitting on the bench to the starters are all treated like stars and approachable in Green bay. If you are a football fan, living in Green Bay is as close to Heaven as you can get. BTW, my niece was in Jordy Nelson's class that he taught the year he was injured. Green Bay is a special place, it always has been.
Going to the Packers Pro Shop to find someone not a fan of the Packers is like going to a Catholic Church on Sunday looking for an atheist.

Bay beach is fun. Not worth traveling to Wisconsin unless u plan to commit a crime and want to avoid the death penalty. We don't have capital punishment.
I went to the Packers pro shop, and bought myself a mini Patriots helmet there because well I'm a Patriots fan. But the place was great, and the people were very nice. I'd like to visit it again some time.
Lol Green Bay’s downtown is actually being revived. If you are a supporter of local businesses, why not consider stimulating the local economy with something that isn’t Packers-related? Also, I’m an ex-Catholic and I can vouch that over half the people in all the Catholic churches I’d attended growing up certainly were not Catholic.. 😅😂

It's not really all that cold most of the time. I don't start closing windows until November when it starts to dip below freezing at night. In the winter it only drops below -10 degrees maybe a dozen times. Most of the time you don't even need a heavy coat or hat. Take last night for example. All the windows open and a very pleasant 45 degrees. I loved it.

That's accurate, very good sportsmanship across the board. I may not like the Packers but I respect the hell out of them. It kind of reminded me of a combination of Michigan Wolverine & Detroit Red Wing fans that we see in SE Michigan (I'm a huge fan of both). They're just VERY into their team. The Packers are all you guys have for a hundred miles or so, therefore the pride and excitement is very high there.

I am a life long Packer Fan and live in Green Bay. I grew up two houses away from Ray Nitschke. I shoveled his snow as a kid too. I worked in the grocery store bagging groceries and have met all the all time greats including Vince Lombardi. If you like NFL football this is the place to live and work.

It’s a really cool city I’ve been to and I’m from Alaska just went there last summer with some friends of mine and they took me around the city and toured your guys is stadium and it really cool and awesome.
This shouldn't be much of a surprise to see how much green and gold that's in GB, and how passionate their fans are. Football seems to be the only major thing they have going in that city.

There's a ton of Bears fans from about Appleton and up. the bay of Green Bay presents some of the best Walleye fishing in the world. Lots of transplants and vacationers.
We also have emergency exit signs that are green rather than red by city ordinance.
