I love sealab. But something I find most interesting behind the scenes of the show is : Shanks was voiced by Micheal goz, the son of the voice actor for hank murphy Harry goz, who died of cancer during the series. I thought it was a touching passing on the torch moment.

I actually enjoy the final season and feel that it is misunderstood, it's more like Frisky Dingo than its Hanna-Barbera parody roots which is fine with me

I love "Sealab 2021", my favorite episode is "Bizzaro" episode, this episode is most rated on IMDB. And there are many episodes that I like not so much. Like "Waking Quinn", "Swimming In Oblivion", "7211" and many later episodes. Thank you for review.

I think your comment about "they just wanted the show to be over" is about right. After Harry Goz, I think the show's spark died.
Michael tried carrying his father's mantle. But by early '05, Matt and Adam realized he couldn't, so everything just went off the rails with the show and everyone realized it was going to be over soon. So they went for the jugular.
They take shots at anime because it’s not only funny but true.
