"The term 'Diaspora' refers to people who leave the place where they were born and raised.
With global urbanization and rapid advancements in transportation and communication, immigrants, international students, and refugees are gathering in Canada, specifically in Toronto, forming diaspora from every corner of the world.
Toronto, a multicultural city where the most diverse ethnicities come together to live!
Here, we need to plant ethnic churches that worship God in their own languages and cultures, and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ among their own people.
Canada MOSAIC Christian Alliance (CMCA) collaborates with all churches to fulfill the vision of urban evangelization through multiplying diaspora ethnic church planting. This involves sharing the Gospel in our city and spreading it to the homelands of various ethnic groups through communal reverse missions.
Think of the tragedies brought about by Pol Pot in Cambodia's Killing Fields, or the philosophical roots of Islamic fundamentalism traced back to Sayyid Qutb.
What if, through the hospitality and service of Christians in France, and even in the United States, they had heard the Gospel and become disciples of Jesus Christ?
How different would world history be?
Our presence in Toronto in 2024 is no coincidence. The influx of numerous Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists as immigrants, international students, and refugees to our side is not by chance.
