I remember my aunt bought this record back in the 1980's when we were kids we were all sitting around the table listening to this... they're mom may have been strict but it paid off! They became rich & famous 😊❤

It's funny you mention the rough side of the mountain song.. when I was about 7 years old my mother made me sing this in church down south in North Carolina it was one of her favorite songs she also played this a lot as well she died in 2021 from cancer and sometimes I go back to the music that brought us together so when I saw that title in your comment I felt obliged to respond.

Definitely not better than the real Clark sisters (can't beat the originality and unique stylings of each of the sisters), but the production values on this soundtrack are more up to date because it's produced in 2020 with modern technologies, and these actors are also wonderful singers, which gives a refreshing take on Twinkie's amazing compositions. Great soundtrack.
