This is all very standard for ToS tbh. Regarding point j., this is not an unusual thing to find in gaming ToS. "Your" account doesn't really belong to you, it belongs to them. Which is why they can do this. In any case, they don't ban for "no reason". Why would you say that? It's not like they hop on their computer, pick random accounts, and ban them. They always have motive. Sometimes they just don't share it. And they have that right. Regarding point f., this is a legal requirement, they have to put this, they don't have a choice. Again, every single ToS has this because every company collects data. It's not scary, it's normal. It's not like they have employees actively searching your computer and collecting your data lmfao, it's all automated and nobody reads your stuff. An example when this would be relevant is for ex: if you plan someone's murder on PokeMMO, then the game will send your chat logs to the police. Which makes complete sense. Again, this is a completely normal article in their ToS so I don't see the point of fear mongering. "Freedom" is not unlimited, and it stops where the freedom of others is harmed. In other words, this very small inference in your "freedom" is also done to protect other people's freedoms, like the example I gave of the person being murdered through PokeMMO (hypothetical ofc, I'm sure this never happened and probably never would, but just to give an idea). And even the transfer of data to other third parties is besides law enforcement is usually automatic stuff. Example: Google collecting data from your searches, will see you searched pokemmo, will send to youtube, and you'll get recommendations. There is nobody manually looking at your data and thinking that is insane. Every ToS in the world does this, and if you're against it, then you just can't use anything anymore so there's not much to do about that. Regarding the Arbitration part: 1) For people in the EU, this article is void because our consumer laws would protect us against this and the designated court would most likely be in your home country / country of residence. In the U.S., not sure how consumer laws apply. 2) "No jury and no judges" does not mean it's a fucking jungle, it's not a no man's land. Arbitration is subject to very strict rules/laws and internal codes of conduct. 3) The reason companies sometimes opt for this is because the procedures are much faster than in public courts and much cheaper. PokeMMO is only doing this for the purpose of efficiency. In other words, this is better for you than going to public courts, because you will spend less money and less time dealing with this (unless you want to waste a shit load of money and spend years in court?). It's also more flexible for parties to find an amicable solution. 4) Moreover, their arbitrators still follow rules and principles, as I've stated. They are neutral, they respect defendant's rights, they are impartial, etc. so it's not like they are pre-determined to be on PokeMMO's side. They have a reputation to uphold and rules to follow, with consequences if they don't. Most arbitrators are trained lawyers, judges, legal experts, etc. so they're not clueless on what they're doing. 5) In any case, they allow you to opt-out, so I don't see the problem. Shouting "freedom" for everything is not the way to go and people must understand that freedom is not unlimited but comes with necessary restrictions. In this case, these restrictions have been standardized for a while now and are far from dangerous. Unlimited freedom = anarchy btw, which, as a result, equates to no freedom. I don't see the point of this video besides creating misinformed fear amongst PokeMMO players. I could MAYBE see the point of recommending to opt-out of arbitration, if you really want to protect yourself from whatever, but the way you are packaging this is misguiding. Please don't take this as a personal attack, I watch and enjoy your other videos. But in this case, I just don't want people in the community to start freaking out for something that is not an issue whatsoever. I'd recommend taking the video down for the abovementioned reasons. But in the end it's your choice of course.
Honestly, based video Worst part for me is the fact they can just bann u/delete account with no reason given. That suck, even tho like u said if Im a normal player it should not affect me but browsing reddit has made me a bit skeptic...if you know what I mean
To be clear, the overwhelming majority of services have this in their terms of service. It is very likely that every account that you have access to has agreed to a ToS that gives that right. I know it's said in the video, but it truly cannot be understated how common this is.
That's why i don't like spending money on live service games Just leave with no regrets when they fuck up just have the memories in the form of screenshots

The Intro just haunted me for a sec.😂😂😂
One day someone I didn't know came and gave me a generous amount of money, the next day I was banned. My fault 😔
Honestly, based video

So basically everyone on Reddit that says “I got banned for no reason” definitely got banned for a reason

Thank you, Sir Meowth Entusiast.
I have a question, though. Do you know if after agreeing to the policies (thus clicking the button), I can still opt out?
@@PedroHenrique-vs3mfi don't think you can, once you agree it's final

thx alot for the info, was too lazy to read it
Do I have to write anything in the email? It seems like just sending a blank email with the given statement as the subject is enough, no?
Just inform them that you wish to opt-out of arbitration and would prefer a trial. If in fact that situation arises.
Amazing vid like truly cux i can nevwr be bothered to ready these 😅
