That was a pretty good video. You are the only one ive seen on youtube to in deep explain the whole history what earth they come from etc. Non comic book fans and some comic book fans donot think theres always been one version of captain marvel superman or the existence of Earth-S the orignal home. I never knew Earth-S stood for Earth-Shazam
A marvelous vid sir. Do please pardon my lame dad humor. I love learning about obscure info on golden, silver, bronze/ early modern comics, it makes me appreciate them more. Don't be afraid of innovating your content, I enjoy your narration.
Yep! That was the "Reign of the Super-Man" story. I talked a little about it at the end of my "Who is the first evil Superman?" video. Here's a link to it: ua-cam.com/video/hWZDDhnjqCY/v-deo.html
You're still way off, by multiple years, re the first evil Superman, or even the first evil Captain Marvel, and with a major character who even appeared in a multi-title story arc (probably the second in comic history, following a multi-title story published by MLJ), with multiple heroes having to team up against him, and is a major part of Captain Marvel Jr's origin. Captain Nazi was a villain in the Captain Marvel universe about 4 years before Black Adam showed up. And he was a character who had no qualms about killing people, right on camera in the comics, making him a rather intimidating villain. If you include villains with superpowers different than that of Superman, then you'd probably have to go with the Mist as the first true supervillain. That's if you're not counting Namor (it being debatable if he was really a villain) or non-super powered villains and mad scientists like the Joker and Lex Luthor, or supernatural creatures. He showed up 2 months earlier than Captain Nazi, and was also quite willing to kill people.
@@capeworldcomics He has super strength, invulnerability, and flies (Superman couldn't fly at first but could by then), and is an adult, and is around for a couple chapters, holding his own against Bulletman, Bulletgirl, and Captain Marvel before CMJ even existed. So it depends upon the specific criteria, but if Black Adam can be the first evil Superman via Captain Marvel despite CM not being an alien, etc, why not Captain Nazi?
@@jschap712 I should look into doing a video about him one day. Most super-Nazis were post-golden age retcons, so Captain Nazi is rather unique in being a legit golden age super-Nazi.
Hello! Can you please make a video about the x-men? I would like to see something from your chanel about them...I really liked your videos so much(my fav is about superman's gun)
Thank you for liking the Krypto-ray gun video! I was worried I was the only one that liked that one! I'd love to do an X-men vid sometime, maybe one on the Morlocks?
@@capeworldcomics You're not wrong. You're also not wrong in pointing out Grandpa Max's visual design looks so much like Uncle Dudley that by Ben 10 Omniverse, Grandpa Max looses his eyes and apparently his soul the reference is so clear.

Captain Marvel is so different. The judge that ruled against Fawcett was wrong!
He's definitely influenced by Superman, but he does so much different he really should be considered more than a clone.

Thank you! I'm planning to expand my content with a video about early superhero video games, like Atari video games, soon!
If only the Rock respected the fact that Black Adam is supposed to be the dark version of Shazam
The Rock wanted to be the Scorpion King again but with superpowers.
Wasn’t original Superman a villain in the first draft Simon & Shuster book? Then it was massively reworked before they sold it off?

Old voice, way better. Still love your vids.
Thank you! I hope to make a lot more!

Wouldn't Captain Nazi be more like an evil CMJ or an evil Captain America?

@@capeworldcomics well if you want yes,but something about storm or wolverine would be really cool
considering you're prolly the biggest fawcett captain marvel fan, have you considered covered the madest mad scientist
I definitely want to cover Sivana and his weird family one day!
Wait Silvna thinks if he destroys one city he can rule the world? If I destroy a neighborhood can I rule the US?
Sivana was a weird, weird dude.
"Om-NEE Man"
I've tried it with a dash, but elevenlabs still likes "Om-NA" for some reason.
Please don't compare Captain Marvel to Ben 10. Captain Marvel steps in loser all over Ben. With an H-Dial, I might add.
Yes he does, but Ben 10 was still inspired by Cap. Ben traveling around with his uncle in a camper van was taken from the live action Shazam show.

The pronunciations are appalling AND inconsistent!
Hopefully as I get more used to the program I can make it flow better.
