    The thing is that the tryhards from strongest battlegrounds are moving to this game since they removed this same tech

      Yeh last time it was easy to find a chill server and be goofy while causing chaos. Now it’s just either tryhard or get targeted

    but this tech is not unfair on the following characters
    yuji - blackflash no longer confirming crushing blow just leads to 50% damage.
    gojo - completely useless with gojo as most of the time you're gonna start your combo with a side dash m1/front dash rather than a block punish (which leaves ur side/front dash on cooldown, rendering this tech useless, since gojo has 0 combo extenders that dont initiate ragdoll)
    mahito/hakari - unfortunately for both of these, their combo extenders arent long enough to restore a front dash in time, which means youre forced to start your combo with a block punish or a side dash to get a m1 reset off.

      @@flashxml I think the character that mainly takes advantage of this tech is Vessel, still being able to do a lot of damage with 1 combo extender (can do the dash tech twice). And 1 combo extender dealing a lot of damage is one of my main problems, that’s what makes the tech unfair.
      You would agree that Mahito’s Soulfire damage nerf was fair by how much damage it dealt.

      Except its really not.
      Yuji CAN do twice but only if you do a block punish rather than starting your combo with a side dash/front dash, which wont happen that much.

      It shouldnt but it wouldnt change anything. This tech requires for you to go on the defensive and block front dashes to use consistently (unless you're yuji, he already lacks in damage after the nerfs)

    the stuns are also a huge problem. after im ragdolled from somebody, they can just easily side dash around me and combo extend from a normal m1 (not foward dash). its so annoying, theres literally no stun.

    you might already know this but instead of landing the last bullet of soul fire it doesn't do knockback and you can keep on m1ing them and do the same tech

      @@Frogodile unfortunately flicking soul fire doesn’t work, it has some slight knockback each hit, and the follow up M1s can be blocked

      The issue isn't really that it "doesn't do that much damage" (It's still a guaranteed 20 damage), it's that you can't escape it no matter what.

      I'm not saying there shouldn't be true combo extenders anymore, I'm saying that a GUARANTEED, UNIVERSAL combo extender that allows you to reset your M1s (that also opens up to TOD combos) isn't really all that fair, especifically against low health characters such as Yuji and Megumi

      @SillyAzureBoy I was just using your logic of it shouldn't be inescapable and do high damage. Also, there are no true oneshot combos in any of the battlegrounds games that have had the m1 extend tech
