Good to see Cornelia Frances included in this list. She was a soap star long before Home & Away. Sons & Daughters, the Young Doctors, GP, the Man from Snowy River. I knew her in the late 1980s and she was a lovely, warm lady. RIP Corney.
I only remember it from the early 2000's. Same with Neighbours. Which both use to be shown on BBC 1 and ITV till Channel 5 bought the rights to both of them. That's when I lost interest. Same with The Simpsons when it was on BBC 2 till Channel 4 bought the rights. Of course this is in the UK.
