I remember asking you a year about remote production. Since then I found the tools tips and tricks. I'm now an outside broadcasting professional. Riverside is by far the best tool for the job your talking about here. Been using Riverside for 6 months worth every penny
It’s really amazing quality and it just works. No one wants to ask a guest to do it again because something went wrong. With riverside you never have to.
This has made all the difference for our small show, before we were using Skype to have my cohost drop in and no matter what we did, it would lag and produce terrible quality video! Riverside’s been a game-changer! Thank you so much for the recommendation!
The reason why that is not the angle of this video is because they have concerns that it would effect the recording quality. I didn’t see any negative effects when I tried it, but that’s why it’s not in the video.
This is great. I want to thank you for your videos. We are new to all of this and mainly we are two dads that are getting our feet wet so we can help charity events livestream without having to pay big bucks. I use OBS from time to time, but with remote work we use Yolobox. I am working on a way to integrate the two.
@@MichaelFeyrerJr let me know if you want any suggestions or help with the yolobox I’ve been using it for about six months now. Their latest update the 2.0.0 for their pro version has some serious bugs that they’re working on. One of the things I requested is that their instant replay, save the buffer and clips like OBS does which would help with making highlight reels.
Omg this video came at the perfect time!I need this functionality in my video livestream. My problem is that I need to be able to do this while using OBS to control my stream and get the guest in with their audio
Would love to hear how that integration goes. I’m curious if there is a way for the guest to see the OBS Stream for on screen questions or demonstrations? This looks like it would be solved with a screen share however sounds like it would be taxing on the computer to run both Riverside and OBS simultaneously. This is a great tool that will help my productions greatly. I think I need to play around with it.
This is for recording guests in high quality and isn’t optimized for live streaming. I recommend it for anyone who needs to record guest segments to put together recorded content.
I would like more about editing......i am catching up at 53 after not doing this kind of thing since i was like 20....so i have some catch up to do. My daughter got me using davinci resolve (the free version) before i was using VSDC so any other input you might have on those or other options that are more user friendly and cheap or free would be great. I'm going to try to riverside next time i record for my youtube channel
@@MichaelFeyrerJr you think a way that is simmular to skype+ndi is possible with Riverside? It seems that it will take a while before the Ndi plugin for OBS is updated to OBS 28 so I'm looking for an alternative way
I've had several of my shorts go viral, however, I do not get watch hour credit for any of them. Hence, I keep trying to meet the 4K threshhold. Any suggestions welcome.

Do you recommend this software over melon or streamyard if I mainly do live streams with guests ?

How does the free version hold up?
It works the same. Just less recording time.
Sitting here wondering if it's my device or if your editor chose the cartoon stop motion style... If it is my device... I like it lol
Can i use this instead Google Meet to call friends and go live on OBS?
They don’t recommend it out of fear that it could negatively effect quality, but I had no problems doing it.
Thanks for ansering
Can riverside do an overlay for a live stream?
does it work with OBS?
There is always a way. :-)

Can you chrome key your video while recording.
Yes. You can leave the green in for editing later or add the background into the recording.

why is the video shuttering?
years! Let know your questions!
Just take into consideration the watermark from your video recordings, if you want to avoid it you need to upgrade for 19$ per month.
Thanks for the feedback.
May be nice but too expensive!!!!
But I have a question! !
What’s the question?
