so glad to see this video i recently purchased my first LV bag off Ebay...the photos were deceiving. The handles looked near mint condition..when i got it it had moderate cracks where the leather loops around the metal part you were talking about..now i think i have to get new handles....i bought the ellipse mm..it is a vintage style made in the month of may the year 1999..going to go get it assessed. It is a beautiul bag in great shape except that one handle...my first LV bag.....that bag was in made in a few different sizes ..the pm..the mm and the Gm...the GM has a outside zip pocket as well as the top zipper instead of rolled handles it has the two strap handles...i was told that it could take up to a year for repair on the other bag..so in meantime i had been thinking about getting the GM bag....crazy as it might sound..i bought one tonight on tradesy that was before i heard you say tradesy shipping is horrible...oh great..i sure hope this bag is good they said it was in very good condition and the straps are good..it's not like i have $600 to be throwing around for bags all the time.....i don't have a Louis Vuitton store close by..going to take a 2 hour trip down to the nearest one and have the bag assessed....

Eventually it will all be the same color when you tan the handles cover up the other vachetta areas ! So funny you just said that after I wrote it lol . I just sold my brand new speedy b 30 in mono for the second time , i don’t know what it is but as I get older my tastes change so much , I am going to get a neverfull mm in DA instead I was never a tote girl now I’m loving the ease of them Totally agree that the size 25 is the best for cross body for top handle Carry only I think the 30 is better I also will no longer do a bag that does not have a shoulder option , no way I just can’t do top handle only anymore and I used to all the time in my 20’s got to say the style that I have been enjoying the most especially because I have my grandson a lot is my backpack it is hands-down my favorite to carry right now! And don’t worry girl they will patina in no time glad you got it fixed before it got worse the price was not that bad either xoxo
Yep I agree. As we get older our taste definitely change. So glad that LV hold up to its value so we'll be able to sell them when we're not in love anymore. I love the neverful but I dont wear mine anymore. I see them EVERYWHERE! I dont see the speedyb25 to often. I just love the size

Left side would be with the pocket inside facing back, LV’s upside down is the back side. Hmm if I ever get my white multi I want to change the Vachetta. It’s ok on the black but that’s my darkest. My vintage 1986 was in better condition !
P LuvsLife well I have a few from after that too, I just mean whoever had that bag probably used it daily or something, the handles were worn.. I’ve never seen such glazing issues on such a new bag. So they didn’t tan yours? I honestly love the patina process and like them light to clean honey :) I feel like using my 2015 or 2016 speedy now :) I’ve used it quite a bit and love it for travel

I'm not sure why they repair certain pieces and not all. I noticed that they do repair on the Pochette Metis Glazing as well. IDK how that works to be honest. yes I place a link in the description box on the Amazon organizer. Thanks for watching doll
And yes please don’t put anything on it, let it patina naturally! I wanted the b trifecta but sold 2/3, I thinking of selling most of my bags but considered the mom monogram. I don’t know, I’m all over the place on wanting to collect them all and purge/keep a select few 😭
