You are lucky you still have the choice to decide what and how you do it they dont. They are now stuck in a cycle they put them selves into. Also the choice isnt as important as you think it is. Just take the leap and try something. Also dont give up for at least a whole year. It takes more effort than you think it will but if you stick with it at the end of the year you will be amazed at the progress.

Kido kenji u should read the manga really! the manga is SO MUCH better then the anime, the anime is kinda rushed between 9-12 episodes, and the anime dosnt really introduce u to new char like the manga does. in my opinion the tokyo ghoul manga is one of the best and i really enjoy it
I recommend reading the manga on a smartphone rather then pc. (I hate reading manga on pc its kinda weird for me, but everyone has diffrent tastes) and read the chapters when ur travling ex. a buss, train car, or in ur spare time. I use Mangastorm its a app on istore its possible to read manga offline all u have to do is to download the chapters. The free version can only download like 10 chaperts, and when ur finished reading them u can delete them and download more. But the full version gives u unlimited chapters and mangas. the full version isnt expensive at all and its really worth buying.
