  • The old coolant hoses going to the radiator of the GTA were getting very old and the lower one had a big split on one end. Luckily Autolusso make an aftermarket kit for all 3 hoses and today we are fitting those hoses on to resolve this issue.
The lower hose is very complex with a T junction and lots of hose clamps which are prone to leaking. The silicon hose from the kit is a 1 piece hose for the lower.
I suggest using high quality hose clamps that are completely flat on the inside so they do not cut into the silicon hose when you tighten.

Is it from your aircon or is it coolant. You should never see any coolant come out of your car

Nice hoses, gotta fit them onto mine :) Do you plan putting CF2 on your GTA ? I've put them yesterday and man, the sound is 10 times better

Thanks, not planning on doing anything with the exhaust yet. I drive the car fairly often and don't want it to be too loud on the road. Having said that my exhaust is a bit old and slightly bent so will need to figure out what to do long term. It sounded pretty good without the rear muffler so maybe even just changing the muffler will make it sound a lot better

@@LueysGarage it won't be alot louder than stock at low rpm though :)
With CF3 the sound will change a bit when changing the muffler, but it gets whole diffrent when on CF2
      Cheers, have a good monday

What's all that saltpeter inside that aluminum engine? ... My Alfa 147 GTA inside the engine is brand new as it left the factory. :) This car was poorly maintained it drove on eneiger roads full of salt in the north without ever washing the sill.

Yeah so the car was sitting for about 2 years doing not much in a driveway. I believe all the gunk has come from the bottom radiator pipe which was quite corroded and the radiator itself. I had to swap the old radiator out for a brand new one not long after this. The coolant is very clean now after flushing a few times!
