~ The incident of H. Noah and his 'flood' has come in detail in Puranas.
The word 'Manu' is used for many Hindu religious ancient great personalities (such as Swayambhoomanu, Vaivasvata Manu etc. which is an epithet or title). The Manu who is described in the most detail in the Vedas, Puranas, and other scriptures is the Manu of Mahajal Pralaya (Noah Alaihissalam). In the Vedas, the context of Hazrat Noah has come in the name of 'Manu' 75 times.

Matsya Purana, Chapter 1 Verse 29 to 35
- "Then God spoke to Manu like this - Okay, okay! You have recognized me very well. Bhupal! In a short time this earth along with mountains, forests, and groves will be submerged. That's why Prithvipate! All living beings - This boat has been built by all the gods to protect the groups. Suvrat! .... All the orphans of all kinds of creatures are there, take all those orphans in this boat and protect them all.
Matsya Purana, Chapter 2: Verse 14, 16
- "........... When the whole earth will be immersed in Ekarnava in the same way in the holocaust and your creation will begin, then I will re-enact the Vedas and Manu will also stay there and worship Lord Vasudev. Keep practicing the yoga (penance and meditation) received by grace, until the time of the foreshadowed doomsday appears
