    “He was despised and rejected- a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all. He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. Unjustly condemned, he was led away. No one cared that he died without descendants, that his life was cut short in midstream. But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people. He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man’s grave. But it was the Lord’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the Lord’s good plan will prosper in his hands. When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins. I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier, because he exposed himself to death. He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53:3-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬
    This was written around 700 years before Jesus came into the earth, yet it describes His life perfectly.
    "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
    God loves you so much and showed that by sending His Son to die for us so that we may inherit eternal life. We deserve hell but He gave us heaven through faith in Jesus. He took the punishment we deserved and by putting our faith in Him we can be saved. The Key To Eternal Life:

    Gotta love that he also includes his missed shots. Lots of other creators don’t and that’s why this channel is my favorite for workouts, film, you name it.

    One thing I really love to do is practice catch and shoot by tossing it off the backboard, finding the ball, and hitting the shot. Forced me to work on catching it especially, since I was so damn bad at that for a while.

    would training a variety of shots like this be more effective than repping out the basics, like one dribble pull ups, catch and shoot, etc?

    • @ByAnyMeansBasketball
      @ByAnyMeansBasketball  Рік тому +2

      Yessir, absolutely

    • @ByAnyMeansBasketball
      @ByAnyMeansBasketball  Рік тому +9

      Think about it this way:
      One dribble pull ups and catch and shoots are massively important. And not only are we directly repping them out here at times, but pretty much every shot we shoot here can apply to those!
      There are so many ways you’ll do a catch and shoot in a game, for example. Moving backwards, moving laterally, at high speeds, with hops, with pivots, rotating-the list goes on.
      If you only rep our standstill catch and shoot… you’re not gonna be prepared for these. Hence why I integrate so many of these different shots into the workout. To prepare us for anything. Because even in situations that seem basic, most times they’re not!

    Great workout, thanks.
    I have a question
    I'm doing the same workout for a month now, i wanted to know if it's ok to stick with one workout for a long time or if it's better to change workouts over time

    This really helped me develop my outside shot since i was getting left open, and i still couldn't make them.
    Ive been usong this routine for about 7 months now and ive become a pretty decent shooter and it really opened up the rest of my game since i have a very quick first step and i now have people coming on closeouts to me sooooo now i can attack the closeouts now

    Hey, over the 3 last monthes i trained 5 days a week on my jumpshot and I became really good at midrange, but I am still not efficient enough on 3s. do you think I should do more 3s and less midranges now or is it gonna hurt my midrange efficiency if i focus less on them ?

    • @ByAnyMeansBasketball
      @ByAnyMeansBasketball  Рік тому +6

      I’d definitely devote more focus to 3s if that’s a priority for you, don’t think it’ll hurt your mid range too much if you keep some in there to maintain it!

    • @natechp
      @natechp Рік тому +1

      @@ByAnyMeansBasketball thanks for the answer, I might try to do half the number of midrange i usually do and twice the number of 3s then!
