It is well worth it but I still haven't gotten to the level of dps because as you know it's not the ship it's the pilot that gets the dps and that's why what you are doing sharing all this detailed info so great and I'm sure everyone agrees.

looks like a build that would work on my Avenger. Been a beam boat for a while and have been slowly moving towards something different and this is a good push. Really good video too.
On a 5 forward weapon build I always use the dark matter quantum torp cuz it saves yur life from warp core breaches. If u hit the enemies with it they dissinigrate instead of make a big warp core breach that kills u from 100 health to nothing
Altamid Set with Trajectory Shifter and exceed rated limits 3 means 250% firing cycle haste, with pulse phaser cannons and turrets, you will fire too fast for the enemy to adapt/react otherwise, it’s actually hilarious and stupid, I’ve stupidly hard in elite queues like that. I however don’t recommend exceeding 300% firing cycle haste as it would break your weapons to the point where they will not fire, I will be reporting this issue to the devs but it’s probably not too much an issue because you don’t need anymore than 250% because you’re already more than two times or orders bypassing resistance shooting straight into the hull. That and you should also make sure you either have 1 CrtD mod on your phasers and leave the rest of the role of Crit Hit Chance and Crit Hit Severity to your traits.
Aye, though I'll try to push this even further with a full 5 man run at some point. Also thinking of trying a CSV Dhailkhina out with the EBM cheese, thinking that should be able to do 1.5-1.6m in a good supported run.

It's a great ship, but it is a Promotional ship sadly. If you want a similar ship, check out the Lexington in the c-store. Is basically a 4/4 version of the Inquiry.
I wonder about one thing: Should I prioritize shield over engine power for Tilly's Shield or the Experimental Weapon from the Risian corvette? Both buffs seem to be quite good.
@@CasualSAB I have done that so far actually, as I felt the benefit from high engine power is slightly higher especially against Borg enemies who eat my shields anyway. :)
Do you see this box as an option? [Special Requisition Pack - Discovery Flight Deck Carrier Tier 6 Ship] If so, grab that and then you should be able to select it so long as you have Cross-Faction Flying unlocked.
Assuming one does not have Rapid-Emitting Armaments, what would be your opinion on using the L-Gal-X trait, Best Hope of the Empire? It triggers off Immolating Phaser Lance - as I can personally attest - and provides a 10% Cat2 All Damage buff for 15 seconds with I believe a 50% uptime due to an internal 30 second lockout. If not that as filler, what would you recommend - possibly Over-Powered and Overgunned?
I'm playing with one of my alts using the new plasma weapons and altimid 3pc along with a bunch of haste consoles.....seems silly fast. Might run it on my main and see how far i can push the dps. How come no one is talking about the new weapons or hacking trait both seem kind of good?
The new weapons are good, but the haste proc only applies to them. I believe with that limitation, that means they don't compete vs Phaser or Disrutpors. But really, the performance is still quite close and will get the job done. Hacking trait is good, but situational. It's a must have in the high end environments on supporting builds, but I'm not sure most DPS builds have room for it.
This keybind explanation isn't computing in my head, so maybe I need a dumbed down ELI5 . I understand that the F key is your traditional spam bar. But G and V are also on an "execute full tray" keybind too. So are the G & V abilities being spammed the same way as the F keybind? If so then I don't understand why they are being differentiated from the main spam bar. Or are you manually activating all the abilities on the G & V rows as needed? If so, then why put them on a full tray executable keybind at all?
When chasing DPS, you want more control over your abilities. You have some that you want up all the time, which is my F key (or spacebar for most others). And then you have some larger damage buffs like Attack Pattern Alpha that you want to make sure are only being used at optimal times in the run, so that's where those other keybinds come in. You do spam them as well, just at points in the combat where you have a lot of enemies and will be able to get the most benefit from them.
The event where we got the box to choose a ship. the D7 is in that box, we are supposed to be able to pull that ship for a fed char, but Cryptic has already said it is bugged and we cant pull this ship for a fed. Its supposed to get fixed. Do you know anything about this? And if you have any pull with Cryptic can you remind them about this being bugged so we can pull that ship for the trait. If you still have your box as I do, could you go to the tribble server and do a test to see if you are able to pull it?

I can use all of my Klingon ships on this char. but I don't want to take a chance opening that box and getting screwed over not being able to extract that Trait.

I missed out for about 6 months on my endeavors, but I got luck rolls and got all of my space ones done. I'm at level 498 right now.

IT could be useful to re-engineering the deflector. Out EPGx2 in hull cap. I've choosen CtrlX, HullCap and Sh/HullCap

Good question, I'd likely lean towards engine power for the soliton.

there are so many dps runs uploaded without commentery...so yes with commentery is better since it actually provides context.
This Vid is sooo good. Good explaination. What can I use instead of the legendary trait? Everything else is available.
Any trait that provides you with Firing Cycle Haste or Crit Chance / Severity will do fine.
is there any use to the cooldown skills? Cant the boimler and other cooldown methods get stuff to its cap?
The wide arc phase cannons are awesome cuz of the proc but the other wide arcs r pointless cuz scatter volley gives ALL yur cannons a 90% arc.

I just opted for the survivability rather than the little bit extra a Spire core would've given me.

Yeah, as a filler, either of those will work.
Over-Powered Over Gunned (OPOG) would probably be my choice for now. Every bit of haste stacks up

Last I knew it would let you so long as you had the cross-faction unlock.
