    For orders please send to totalstealthleads@gmail.com Remember I make leads in my spare time and are made to order. So they may take a while especially if its a big order or I have back orders. I should do them instead of making videos lol

    I used these with the Team Catfish weight slides to make a ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxdmsDj7fQXe77DC0l7P7ua8B3PiESUubM Carolina rig and they were perfect for the ponds I fish. I have also used them to make 3 way rigs and these work perfectly. Haven't had any issues with them snagging in rocks or in weeds yet.

    I have used a slow curing epoxy and sand as well. Works pretty darn good as well, since epoxy is basically plastic. The sand makes the sheen much less shiny ( almost a satin sheen) . And you can add a color to the epoxy to change the sand colors as was done in the video

      eBay, Etsy or even Amazon all have it..just type in " fishing weights plastic coating powder ". Usually runs about 5-15$ depending on the product supplier and the amount.

    Just watched your video and 1 questions I'm new to making leads and I'm having trouble with the swivels discoloraring from the heat, you got any advice cos I cant see any difference it what your doing to what I'm doing.. great vid by the way

    • @ScreamingDelkims
      @ScreamingDelkims  4 роки тому

      Hi Luke
      You're burning the Matt black coating off the swivels mate. What you need to do mate is keep the flame away from the swivel. Just heat to the top of the lead. The heat from that will warm the lead loop.
      If the swivel gets too hot it will burn the Matt coating and turn a dull copper colour and that's no good if you're selling them..... and they also look pants.
      Are you using a burner torch like I do or another method mate???
      Another problem you can come across if the swivel gets too hot is if you get the plastic coating on it it will clog the swivel up and you'll spend the rest of your natural life picking it off again (when it's cooled down) lol. Just cover the lead to the lead loop with plastic powder. Are you holding the lead with forceps or pliers mate??? 👍👍👍
      Hope this helps Luke. Anymore problems let me know and I'll talk you through where you're going wrong fella 👍👍👍

    • @ScreamingDelkims
      @ScreamingDelkims  6 років тому +1

      Yes mate.......... but you have to embed the gravel into the molten plastic or it just falls off cause theyre bigger than sand

    • @geriatriccarper2842

      ScreamingDelkims maybe two layers of powder coat to assist the gravel embedding?

    • @ScreamingDelkims
