I noticed you took the camera away when you were doing the black coily model.. wonder how long it would take an how many passes for thick kinky coily hair I have yet to see a model like that using this airstrait...
I like this. I’m not good a blow drying my hair even with all the brush blow dryers. This works for what I want.
I am so impressed by this tool and I didn’t think I would be. It’s seriously a game changer!! Like hello salon quality blow outs !!! Absolutely amazing!! Also the tension bars and the way it glides down the hair so seamlessly adds on to the magnificent experience. Way to go Dyson! You’ve outdone yourselves with this one. I haven’t touched my airwrap since I got it xD but I still love that baby too
Wow - that's some awesome feedback! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your impressions with us, we're so happy to hear your Dyson Airstrait™ is living up to expectations 😀
@@dyson ooo yes I really love it! Been using it regularly. I have a bad habit of washing my hair every night so now I switch between airwrap and airstrait. 😆👌
Dear Dyson, thank you for making this video and including a Black women with type 4 hair texture. However, I think what is frustrating for many women with coily to kinky hair textures is that the tool is called “Airstrait” but it only stretches coily hair textures?!? That doesn’t make sense if the product was created to straighten the hair and then you proudly mentioned it was tested to work on all hair textures. But that claim is not accurate if the “Airstrait” only straightens some hair textures (looser to finer hair textures) and not others. There are other products on the market that offer these same results at a lower price point while also providing less heat damage. As many have suggested, have you considered adding a comb attachment to address the disparity in how it doesn’t meet the needs of truly straightening coily hair texture.
저 거치대를 가지고싶네요
I have the revair and I’m wondering if the results will be about the same for me I have 3B/ 3C hair. I think there was a magnetic bristle attachment to place on the inside plates above the gold section it would help create enough tension for coily/ curly girls to get a sleeker look. Idk if I get the same results as my revair if it’s worth spending another $500.
I know you have a black model but it would also have been nice to have kept us in mind when making it instead of just saying you won’t get straight results, blow out results is as good as it gets for you guys and everyone else it will be straight. It would have been nice if you thought about coming out with a way help coily/ curly girls create tension while using this instead of me having to wait to see if you guys come out with this later one in a year or however many years down the road.
I think it would also be cool to add a rounding attachment in the same place as where I suggested a bristle attached so you can also get a natural bounce
We are not their target audience so they couldn't care less. Just stick with Revair.
Also, I have to wonder what testing has been done for the threat to hearing the noise of the straightener may have. It doesn't sound that loud on camera but the camera is quite far from the device. Having it inches from the ears for ten or so minutes every day may require sound proofing ear buds.
Love the Costco restroom hand dryers! Want to buy them too for the house!!! This new product will sell for hair stylists, not individual retail customers because of the pricepoint! It's obviously an awesome product!!! Now, work on hair growing product! Yes, too many variables! We have tried to do it for 80+ years!
Neat. ☺️
Dyson needs to increase the heat range to 450 (like flat irons) so that it’s compatible for ALL hair textures, including 4C curlier textured hair.
I had to increase the video speed to 2.0x…🙈…getting sleepy in the slowness of them not understanding that curly textured hair needs higher heat w/heat protection serums.😩…until someone develops a safer remedy…especially if someone with 4C hair wants bone straight hair.
I actually thought 4C naturally straightened hair looks really good…especially if cut & styled properly.
There’s a turbo mode you can press to run over your hair, it is the hottest mode that really smooths to a sleek level. Not sure the temperature that it is but I can tell you it gets hotter than the other temps available in both wet and dry mode. If you want to use turbo you will need to have your hair dry then you can activate it from dry mode setting. Recommend using cold mode after turbo !
450? Girl they are not trying to burn your hair off, even if you are. This is a WET TO DRY tool not a flat iron.
Is it worth 500?
It really is. You will get professional salon blow outs from home!! Better than airwrap’s smoothing brush, this gives flat iron level of smoothness
The concentrated air flow technology makes this perform the way a blowdryer and round brush do, but even better as this is a new innovative effortless way that does not exhaust you!
What is that presenter wearing
The Dyson Airstrait™ straightener has glass bead thermistors in its arms, which prevent the machine exceeding temperatures which could damage your hair. The machine uses air, instead of hot plates to straighten as it dries, with no heat damage.
@dyson Lmbo! I think you're confused. She asked what is the PRESENTER WEARING.
@Dyson if you guys can add some kind of comb or pick attachment as an option, that would make getting the roots so much easier for coily hair. I am in LOVE with this machine, but I wish it was easier to dry my roots with tension.
But they already have the airwrap smoothing brush that does that. He said that the result on coily hair is a blow-out stretched look. That's what the smoothing brush on the airwrap does.
