From what I read in the past, PD actually misrepresented the Lister Storm. It actually was lighter in real life, in its race variant at least. The game severely nerfed that car.
The Panoz Esperante was a similar car that was also made incorrectly heavy

Glad someone with experience is making content now, I can enjoy it without having to make potato quality stuff myself. Also it's best to turn off the driving assists(TCS is normally fine) with very low weight, it prevents you from getting stuck as easily, and prevents some of the weird shaking. 150kg is a good stable low weight I've came across.

There's actually an in game bug with the Toyoya GT One. If you drive it on the test track the front will lift up and will go to 4000 mph+.

8:50 Jesus, that's the craziest thing i've seen since i started watching the GT4 mod videos.
BTWi also messed around with weight. First thing i noticed is that any car bellow around 50-60kg is going to have problems while driving at high speeds (200kmh+).
Second, the race replay can get bugged by this weight modification. There were times where the AI in replay, driving your car would crash into a wall, but still try to drive as you drove in the race.
The best lightweight solution is to simply remove the last digit of the cars mass.
Yeah the double digits are reeeeeally weird but usually 100 or so was good
Also that’s weird, dumb ai lol
150kg is pretty good weight, most of the time the replay can remain intact, but some tracks are worse than others for the replay breaking with low weight.

I once had something kinda similar to this happen to me on GT2 when I was a little kid. I always raced with the Escudo Pikes Peak, and for some reason (maybe data corruption?) the weight of the car all went into the HP of the car, so I had a ton of power, but the car kinda just floated into the sky
