Hey Grant..... I'm taking back everything I said about the DOD King 👑. He played a keyboard ⌨️ warrior at a course I've played a few times in Houston Texas. He blew it up. Birdies all day long. The best I've done is 77. All the respect to the DOD King.
He was going balls deep in the bush all day and still hitting that spot 🌮.

Congratulations! I was superintendent at Poinciana CC for many years back in the late 80's-early 90's. I planted most of the palm trees (sorry). Forest Oaks was called Lucerne Lakes back in the day. Good luck turning a profit at Poinciana with only greens fees to pay for maintenance equipment, insurance, taxes, golf carts, electricity, etc. Unfortunately in Palm Beach County, even an executive club like Poinciana will cost more to maintain than it can ever bring in with just greens fees alone. Best of luck, I put a lot of blood sweat and tears into that place!
I live on this course and it’s in fantastic shape! Love playing there in the summer in less than two hours!

Call me ignorant, but typically how does a "normal" golf course make a profit if green fees aren't enough? Restaurant + weddings? That's all I can think of.

Absolutely love this little gem of a course for practice. It is great for 2nd shot practice into tiny hard greens so when you go back to a non-executive set up, you feel like the greens are landing strips. You guys have done a great job with the resources available to bring this course back to playable.
You guys have done a stellar job at Ponciana! Our squad is there every weekend since the summer of 2022. The course is absolutely beautiful and we get hyped up every time we notice something new throughout the years. From the staircases leading up to some tee boxes, new tee markers, new pins/flags, hole 13 getting reworked, we love it all. This course got me into golf and to see the transformation first hand has been special. Great to see the spotlight shine on all the hard work you guys have put in.
Side Note: I still remember playing a few holes with you and Ronnie and you were in flip flops with rentals absolutely sending the ball. And my boy Brett mentioned something about your Good Good hat at the time (too soon?) and you said you were best friends with Grant Horvat and proceeded to video call him so Brett could say what's up lol. Awesome moment, love the videos man keep it up!

It’s not his Fathers money, its his Fathers skill set, and if he passes that onto Henry, surely that’s what good parents do? His Father recognises that he needs help taking on the new lease, employs immediate family and makes another successful golf course. Henry you have become my favorite golf content guy now. From the moment you played with Grant and lost to his teeth until today, my enjoyment of watching you has been on the rise. Honestly if your ever in Washington state I would love to bring you on my home course and play. I think you and I could go very low. This is going to be my 3rd year playing and 2024 is going to be my first full year Im going to be able to play all year minus the first 4 months lol! I have a great golf story. But I'm a solid 7 handicap and I think I'm going to shoot par or better this summer. Maybe you and I could see that happen together if you are in town here this summer. Maybe I'll get an invite to come play with you down there. God gives us all we need to walk that path to under par doesn't he.

Some of the comments are ridiculous. I've been a part of many business opportunities that I didnt put a dime into. I received a piece of it to bring my expertise or relationships into the deal. Henery just made me aware of a coarse i never heard of. Just maybe he is part of the marketing team?
