so a few months ago i tried for a job at a local chickfila. we were eating at one in guntersville, a city near us and i was talking to my two sisters and our mom about how bad i wanted to work at a cfa. she told me i could go for the shot. i was hoping that our other local cfa would be hiring so we went to there, in fort payne - another city near us - and found out they had open interviews tuesdays 2-5. so i took the shot anddd my older sister did as well. we filled out applications, got interviewed and we were getting excited while trying not to get our hopes up too much which, was hard😂 well after a week of nothing i started to get a little doubt. we looked up and found out that it could take up to two weeks to hear from them so we gave it another week. after two weeks there was more doubt. through all the waiting, day by day i thought to myself `they would've called us by now', `did i make a bad impression?' well we eventually assumed we weren't getting the job. i couldn't believe they didn't hire us. i kept telling myself i made a bad impression, and maybe i'm not meant to work at a cfa. so i started getting negative and feeling down and i thought i was never going to find a job. well i tried for my small town grocery store. filled out an application, the manager asked me some questions which i'm guessing was counted as the interview and over and over he told me to come back if i didn't hear from him. i went up there two times and the second time he told me he was still `making his decision'. i eventually assumed i wasn't getting the job. so for the second time i was getting negative and feeling down and i thought i was never going to find a job. well tuesday we were eating at another local chickfila when my mom noticed their sign said `open interviews wednesdays 2-5' so my mom thought that since the fort payne cfa didn't work out i could go with guntersville. well i kept hoping i would get a call from them soon after getting interviewed but if i'm honest i didn't want to have to wait for a call again like fort payne had me do and then i would just be watching my phone all day, literally waiting for nothing end up getting disappointed. well my dad took me and on our way there my mom called and told me that this cfa had made a facebook post saying that if you came into today to get interviewed by the leaders there's a chance you could get hired on the spot. that gave me a little relief. SO i went in - just me this time bc my older sister has a new job and starting tomorrow - asked for an application, i got interviewed, then afterwards they went back to talk about it and they came back to me and said `so we're going to hire you'. and i FREAKED OUT. i told my family and some of my friends and they all gave me their congrats and love. they were so thrilled to hear bc they've known how much i've wanted to work at a cfa. literally this is an answered prayer🙏🏼 i was so disappointed with the first failed cfa attempt but i kept hoping and praying that i would get to work at a cfa SOMEDAY. this cfa was actually hiring and allowing interviews when we assumed that the other one maybe wasn't but they had open interviews - bc our interviews went really good and it's just a shock they didn't take us, so we thought they probably just made up their minds and figured they didn't need us - anyways for some reason. cfa ppl are my kind of ppl and to call myself a new cfa employee is an honor and i couldn't be happier. i'm going in for paperwork today at 4pm and i'll go from there. if you made it to the end i'm SO srry it was so long but yay for you hah :)

@@kat-pe8ok i was, until we had a remodel late may. i transferred to another location nearby and i've made the tough decision to stay there. after being at guntersville for a year i wasn't ready to leave yet..i've only been here since june ! it tore me so bad deciding between the two because ive known those people for the longest time(a year) but these people here clicked for me in SUCH a good way!
