Hello Can you please confirm whether the online permit system currently in operation is enough to visit Marsimik La or there is any special permit required to be obtained?
@arindrajitdebsarma3013 yes brother they opened all routes beyond Marsimik la too chang chenmo region… sometimes army doesn’t allow but then there is no special permit that if you will have they will allow you.. if they don’t then they don’t unless some army connections

Timings of Zojila pass are no longer there. Those timings are only early in the season when snow is there at Zojila Pass and road is narrow. Generally by June first week to second week the timings are removed.

Yes, bhai you can plan but on Manali Leh Highway plan it before middle of October and when traveling on any remote route including Umling La and Manali Leh Highway, you must go only if clear skies are there without any prediction of overcast conditions or snowfall as it has already started snowing up in the region and Umling La has received snowfall couple of times already. On Manali Leh Highway, do not sleep overnight between Leh and Jispa anywhere as overnight road closure can get you stranded. Go well prepared with woollen clothing as it will be cold up there.

Yes, that environment fee is more than enough. Just carry a copy of it as hard copy or soft copy.

Too cold to do a enjoyable bike trip and November is too risky to travel by road anyhow.
