Give the direction clearly but ask the pupil if they would like to have a go at tackling it themselves or would they like some help. The PDI was overinstructing the pupil in places. Allow them to show you what they are capable of and be ready to step in if required. You will now find out IF they need any help or not. If they do, now we can be proactive and help. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
Just to clarify; does that online Ditkit experience count towards the 40h requirement before applying for pink licence?
