Hi there! What do you think of the salomon sleepwalker as a beginner board? I saw one for a really good price and I'm wondering if it would be suitable.
Hey tc any thoughts on the rossignal district as a beginnner board? My son is showing interest at 15 and i can get a setup for a great deal and it appears to have some camber between the bindings and rocker in the nose and tail....thoughts?
Bigger question is what bindings are coming with it? If it's Rossi bindings don't do it, but if it's the deck and any other brand. Great option to get someone started on although may outgrow it quick if he really takes to it.
@AngrySnowboarder it has junk rossi bindings but i have the option of upgrading to ride c4 or k2 indys which based off your top 5 lists is good stuff ...and ill def be doing that...im basically getting the board with the upgraded bindings for 329 out the door .
Hi, I'm looking at getting a Nitro Prime. Does it matter which version or are they all good? Prime Chroma, Prime View, Prime Raw. In the video, image was of the raw, but links are for chroma. Thanks!
So which of these do you think I should buy (I don’t like thinking for myself)??? Been riding for 10 years and still working on my turns but would like to progress to the park and throw some gnarly airs!
I am a kooky skiier looking to bring my qualities and talents to snowboarding, i wanna snowboard, but not be a snowboarder...I heard burton was really cool....but i think im going to buy a skate banana, i just wanna get out on the hill and kinda just be in the way...sound good?
I started on a Rome mechanic. I think Rome is great for beginner boards because even my flat profile beginner noodle board still had “great” pop due to those carbon rods. I feel like those little rods that Rome has in those beginner boards makes it real good for beginners who know they want to be getting into park as well, while staying cheap.
Full review vid for the rally cat? Curious for your thoughts about the flex/snap and 3D base for intermediate+ park rider. Never ridden a Jones with the 3D base.

I taught my kids on the yes basic. It hits the sweet spot of camber and rocker while maintaining excellent edge hold in icy conditions.
Thanks!
You're welcome.
What size do you recommend for the nitro prime?
The one that fits your stats.
Hi there! What do you think of the salomon sleepwalker as a beginner board? I saw one for a really good price and I'm wondering if it would be suitable.
Do it up.

Just double check the camber profile, but for the most part they're all the same except for the graphic.
@@AngrySnowboarderthanks!
Is the Nitro Prime Chroma a suitable substitute for the Nitro Prime Raw?
Yep.
@@AngrySnowboarder awesome, that's all I needed to hear. add to basket. Thank you for the insight as always!
Hey I got one from the 90s lmao me sitting here with an old private label
Any reason you excluded the yes basic? Too much for a beginner board? Or just didn’t make the list?
So someone would make this exact comment.
@ which is it?
See above comment.
Great list - looking forward to copy and pasting this url into r/snowboarding comments 10000 times this season!

Thanks TC... I always value seeing this list while working in the shop to suggest to the newbies.

GILSON board and some CLEW bindings and you can remain a kook and not a snowboarder.
Seppeku.
what's that black and white board behind on your left?
25 Ride Smokescreen

@@__A__G__mb gang, didnt read it properly. I want to know that one too, sick graphic
@@shawnli5702 yeah exactly, and that's my main criterion when picking boards lol
Maybe something from Dinosaurs will Die or whatever they're called?

Man that 2025 Gateway Pop is a good looking one. Rally cat is too. If I could turn back the hands of time, it would be a toss up between those two

I can't wait to look into getting me a board....
no 3BT (bataleon) board on this list? 🤯
