🇫🇷 Quel est le point commun entre les Irlandais et les punks ? La joie de vivre et une bonne descente bien sûr !
En 1997, le chanteur et guitariste Dave King, originaire de Dublin, cherche des compagnons de route à Los Angeles…. Et il les trouve au pub Molly Malone. C’est le berceau du groupe @FloggingMollyBand, qui oscille depuis entre folk et punk traditionnel, faisant entendre dans les salles de concert et les festivals du monde entier sa conception irlandaise du bonheur.
Ne manquez pas le concert Flogging Molly au Hellfest 2023 ! Une performance qui invite à se prendre dans les bras et à se laisser submerger par des chansons empreintes de tristesse, d’espoir mais aussi de bonne humeur. Sláinte!

Flogging Molly are just so much fun live. It's infectious.
I saw them on September 15 for the first time and I was blown away by how happy, fun, upbeat and energetic they were. It was awesome
I've only seen them once - supporting Frank Turner on his Tape Deck Heart tour - and they absolutely f***ing blew me away - started with Drunken Lullabies and finished with What's Left of the Flag - I was in pieces by the end. Such energy, life and love in their songs.
How good are Flogging Molly? Awesome
Such a great band. Unique, quality, and a damn good Irish sound.
What is crazy to me is that guy is the voice behind one of my most favorite 80’s metal bands, Fastway!
Fastway rocked!
Saw them ages ago at a small festival in The Netherlands, and during a tour. It still sounds like a lot of fun.
Dave King is one of the greatest lyricists of the last 20+ years.
Especially in Fastway lol. They rocked

I saw them this year at rock im park and they played at 12 o'clock at noon on Sunday. They were one of the best bands of the whole weekend with one of the nicest atmospheres ... They were great !
One of my highlights of RiP. Only dedicated people were there. Everybody exhausted from the days before. But the energy managed to lift everybody up. Unglaublich geiler Auftritt
I saw then 20+ years ago in a small club in italy: La Gabbia (Bassano del grappa) before No use for a Name plays...memories....beatiful memories...

Aller voir un concert seul et se retrouver à danser bras dessus, bras dessous avec de parfaits inconnus. C'est l'esprit Hellfest dans toute sa splendeur ! Merci pour ce moment !!
C'etait incroyable
T'as de la chance. Moi j'étais contre les barrières, entre l'écran de droite et la scène, bah j'ai passé plus de temps à regarder en arrière pour guetter les slammers, quand j'étais pas carrément écrasé contre la barrière. Bon, je me plains pas, c'était mon premier Hellfest, donc j'ai adoré, mais je m'attendais pas à ce que ça bouge autant, même si c'était dans la warzone 😅 heureusement que j'avais prévu carrément le pichet de bière, vu tout ce qui a fini à côté 🤣

Had a deck from him, I learned how to ollie with, around '89 / '90...
Some couple of weeks ago, they played in an town near by,
and I met him at the backside of the club...
Really cool guy, still down to earth and layed back...
The show was also a blast!

Got a chance to see them live at Brooklyn Steel here in NY and was amazed that they sounded as perfect as their recordings. Sometimes other bands are a bit off of their peak sound that was recorded onto an album, but Flogging Molly is as fantastic live as they are on their albums. Videos never really do the audio justice but it shows how fun they are as a creative collective.
Some bands were meant to live forever.
I'm seeing them live August 25th. It's been probably 7 or 8 years since the last time I've seen them and I can't wait. Flogging Molly always has the most fun and enjoyable live shows. I can't wait

Flogging Molly Lead Singer DAVE KING was Singer of 1980s Heavy Metal Band FASTWAY and a Band called KATMANDU who released an album in 1991. He has changed his Vocal style totally , go look up FASTWAY "HEFT" "TRICK OR TREAT" "DONT STOP THE FIGHT" "ALL FIRED UP" and you'll see what I mean. I love FASTWAY.
That's crazy trivia, how did I never know this until now... I love FMolly and also loved the movie 'Trick or Treat' way back in '86 I think, I was a reclusive metal kid and identified with the lead character. I loved the soundtrack at that time and was the only Fastway album i ever bought. Thanks for the info! 🙂
@@thepmaexperience awesome man, ya i was short n skinny 4 my age and went to a rich type preppy school so in got picked on ALOT so I can identify with MARC PRICE's Character (RAGMAN) in the movie Trick Or Treat Movie, Great soundtrack and the movie has GENE SIMMONS and OZZY OSBOURNE in it.

I been listening to these guys for years but this is the first time I've watched a live performance of theirs. As a whole the band looks like they're having so much fun playing, and their enthusiasm really rubs off on the crowd. I've had opportunities to see them before and now I regret not taking advantage of it, but I definitely won't pass it up the next time they're in my area.
What a band! 20 years (for me) with this perfect unperfection.

Oh man! My brother introduced me to Flogging Molly years ago and took me to a concert in Detroit.The best time of my life.
From Detroit and have seen them at every show in the D since 2004. Always amazing.
I fucking love Flogging Molly. I saw them with Dropkick Murphy's and it was one of the best concerts I've been too. Watching this just gave me so many memories a bunch people just bouncing around and moshing to a fiddle, banjo and accordion.

Saw them on the 31.May in Luxembourg at the Atelier. Small venue but 800 enthusiastic fans. What a night! What a concert.

oh man SOOOOO jealous!!! They sound amazing! I still cannot get over the fact that Dave King was the singer/brains behind Katmandu. Their album of the same name is still a fave of mine and is still in heavy rotation in my iTunes library. Got to see Flogging Molly at a Warped Tour here in Jersey a while back and they blew me away. Just an incredible, incredible show and ridiculously talented musicians.......
