Since the ego died, there’s no one to mediate between the id and superego, which makes sense because Furina, who only sates her pleasures like hosting tea parties, doesn’t seem to know what the plan to save Fontaine is (which is most probably being formulated by the oratrice, the one actually enacting the morality of justice in fontaine).

the biggest supporter of the supposed "divinity" of Oratrice Mechanique d"analyse cardinal is the fact that it creates energy based on the people's "Sense of Justice" it really resonate with Nahida's statement that an Archon's power are being derived from the people's faith, the same faith in Justice is what powered fontaine's energy and produce indemnitium talking about Nahida's statement, that statement really does makes me questions some things, primarily about Venti, it does makes me question his statement about his own power
I think she split herself from her divine self and put it into the oratrice. Doing so made her forget how it works as the knowledge went with it. That just leave her weaken self to deal with fontains people while the divine is gathering Indemnitium for some unknown purpose.
Smol theory: I kinda believe Egeria’s ideology from that time is also ‘Justice’, but from its Theological/ biblical concept, which is ‘Justice comes with the love for the humanity/ neighbors’, it can be other factors such as ‘Extreme justice is extremely wrong’, or ‘Justice without Love or vice versa can lead to excessive abuse of power to the people.’ Hence her desire to connect the whole world with the use of the Oceanids. Even Wrio mentioned that she took pity on the convicted criminals, and gave them task to build their new home: Fortress of Meropide. In the second meeting with Arlecchino, she said that she still couldn't see the "true future" right now. And the prophecy being rooted in the previous Archon's words would also make sense, if Egeria also had that ability. I have the feeling that Focalors might be playing 5D chess and deceiving everyone including herself, as per Nicole words. I wouldn't know the reasons though. I think that Furina stole the role of archon from Egeria. Perhaps Furina saw Egeria's plans for Fontaine as putting them in conflict with the Heavenly Principles. She may not have killed Egeria directly, but likely created a situation in which the former archon could not escape her fate. She then stole Neuvilette's memories of his former allegiance to Egeria, so that he would be loyal to her instead. It's possible that the Oratrice is powered by the real Furina, and the other Furinas we see are fragments of the whole. Kind of how light breaks into all the different colors when passing through a prism. Do you know what else acts like a prism? WATER DROPLETS. Water droplets are noticeable in Furina's and Oratrice's motifs. I think the voice we hear in the Fountain Lucine is the original Furina, suffering from loneliness after being separated from the various aspects of herself. Begging that she won't be forgotten and left alone in the dark.

I think she acted as a "worthless" archon so much that she "became" one. And "old" her is still her but for her plan she needed to act like that. Three thrones is probably her, last hydro archon and Niuvilette. So....I think she gave herself personality disorder for the sake of the spectacle. Her nation has a problem, but not a real villain that you can blame. So she took that role making her own nation a main characters that will perish a villain and solve a problem without making them feel guilty for killing her. She dies, Niuvilette takes power, solves problem and after: A) new hydro archon B) Heavenly Principles C) Insta kill from Celestia to Niuvilette.
So far I´ve noticed that all the archons want to stop working with Celestia. Zhongli just gave up his gnosis to the Tsaritsa and supports her plans. Ei gave her gnosis to Miko. Nahida exchanged her gnosis for knowledge. I really doubt Furina wants to align with Celestia or wants to betray her people. My theory is, based on the letter she gave to Neuvillette and his conversation with the Traveler... Furina might be planning to "destroy" the gnosis and return all the Hydro power to Neuvillette, but in a way that does not "wake up" celestia. Nahida hinted that destroying a Gnosis IS possible and that it can lead to huge problems with Celestia.
I think if we're going to see a second Furina, it'll have to be during 4.2. I decided Furina was an impostor back in 4.0, and I stand by that thought. Personally, I'm thinking the impostor is at least partially corrupted by the abyss, and the real Furina (either being the Oratrice or trapped within it) judged Childe as guilty because of his connection to the abyss. I think the real Furina will appear and if she's going to have more normal eyes, it only makes sense to be during her banner patch.
I understand all theories, but imo that about "there being 3 hydro archons" is not holidng. I think you will not deny that describing Furina`s situation in the court, when she was playing strong and all mighty while being lost in thoughts and desperate for answer, through the image of her mind "inner self" as you described it was simply better storytelling, then trying to describe all of that with simply dry words.
I'm starting to think if it isn't some sort of modified erosion (quicker and more extreme) that is currently affected Furina. Like the voice we heard in neuvillette cutscene is a more healthy furina. Maybe she knew her mind would erode in future which is why she's gave advice to Neuvillette to prepare him for that inevability.
The three archons theory is definitely plausible, but not with her inner self, which is literally just her thoughts and real feelings of what's happening. This kind of thing isn't new to fiction. There's plenty of fiction that utilizes a faded or different-colored double of a person to represent their thoughts/feelings. I will never understand why or how people get the idea it is a completely different entity.

It's not really clear tbh. There's many ruins underwater and i think it was said that all water in Teyvat comes from Fontaine. So Fontaine is like a sink that gets overfilled. Whatever the case may be, Fontaine being flooded is not good for Teyvat in general.
Furina card is like venti to me. When the drop character venti has no element too, because he is a wind fairy, is furina a water fairy or an oceanid that previous archon trust or else?
