I hope this video isn't too long but I wanted to give you all the deets. This is my unboxing and review of the new Recollections Creative Year Planner at Michaels. I also purchased some of their insert books. There's also a comparison between this and the Websters Pages Color Crush.

FYI: The inserts in the Recollections Creative Year Planners are not the standard personal planner size of 3.7" x 6.7" The Recollections planner inserts are 4" x 6.7" The standard size will definitely fit but will be narrower.

You can and are supposed to remove the pages from the books. They are just sold in book form for convenience.
Yeah, I agree! I do think the inserts from the books make more sense if you tear them out and insert them into your planner.

Love the undated calendar. These are so cute! Great quality for the price. Wish they were online. Michael's is fortyfive miles away. But there are three stores in that vicinity. Maybe they will have some in stock.

I think they hit it out the park with their inserts - EXCEPT for the Sunday start!!!!! UGH
So no week/month inserts for me, but I LOVE using their other inserts in my Kate Spade and kikki.K

I wish they had a baby pink too girl!!!!! I ended up with gold because I wanted pink and mint but I didn't like the mint either!!!! fun haul!! happy planning :)

get slice app in the Google play store for automatically tracking your packages it scans your email for tracking numbers and let you know when the package arrives. hope you like it. tfs your review.
Thanks for the review! Are you planning on using all of the planners? What are your plans for them?? I bought two and am trying to convince myself to use both haha.
I kept two and gifted the others. You can always change them out with the seasons. Or keep different ones for different tasks and calendars. Happy planning!
I have a beautiful gold one, it's a beautiful gold color but it's still in the box because the monthly and other pages are way too small to write in..

Hi! Loved the video! You said you had a hard time finding these May I ask where you are from? I am trying to debate when to get mine because I really want to wait for coupons to come out, but I feel like they will sell out fast so I dont want to risk it and usually when I take risk it isnt a good outcome for me lols.
I started looking when they were first hitting the shelves and the allocated sections were mostly empty. They are stocked now I just wish there were more colors! :)

Hi Hun :D I was wondering, do the recollections collection inserts (calender etc) fit perfectly in the WP Planner? I want to purchase the WP planner but want to use the recollections inserts and wanted to know if I would get away with doing that? If you could please let me know I'd greatly appreciate it. +Chantal Q The inserts are a quarter inch wider. They will definitely fit but your pen will stick out if you use the pen loop.
What are the prices of all of the books? In the video you mentioned that you would put the prices in the box below

I like Websters Mich better than Recollections. They just feel better to the touch.
So overall do you prefer the color crush or the micheals?
Michaels hands down! I love that the pages are slightly wider. It makes a huge difference! Of course you can't beat the price either. Although the Webster's comes with a lot of inserts most people don't use them (I don't) so you are paying more for stuff you won't use.
Will the inserts from Webster fit the recollection planner
They will, but they will be narrower. See the note in the description. Hope this helps. ; )
