This is how Prabhas saved them.
So the director chose a subtle way of showing how prabhas saved them. The director's reason is not known. Maybe there wasn't enough time to show it, maybe the movie was getting too long or what ever.
The tatoo lady says "I only see death all around you" what she meant why are asking for a tatoo when all of you are going to die ?
Then prabhas says " "do you also see the same?" i.e Prabhas meant its him thats going to kill all the bad guys.
then they show glimpses of what happened through her eyes. then she laughs after realizing what really about to happen (in contrast to what she initially though would happen)
very subtle. little creative. but I loved it. (spares us from yet an another fight scene)
Getting tattoos on one's body was a custom among the women of ancient India.
Because in old India it was believed that nothing can be taken from this life to the next life, but if we get something written or made in our body, then it can go to our next life in the same way.
That's why in this film, before killing Prabhas, he was asked to get his favorite tattoo done on his hand.

Before she gave them the tattoo she glimpsed into the future,and what she saw was how he killed all of them,so u they already explained how he saved all of them
If you watch KGF Chapter 1 ending scene the guards all aim to Rocky and then screen goes black with the gun shot🙌 but we know he somehow save from that situation and yes it will shown in Chapter 2 Rocky intro scene🔥 so similarly here while all of them swinging their machete to killed Vardha gangs and then the frames cut to Vardha scene, we know all of them are safe, and yes it will be shown in the Lady imagination🔥 to make you more understand, it's just a NEEL things🔥👍

DEVA fight scene shown as a creative way of Tattoo ladies imagination.. he got his tattoo while they ware sharpening their swirds and fought then when they tried to behead Varada's brother.. fast cuts to different sequences is Prasant neel style..
Don't you think voting for " cease fire " will show everyone that varadha is afraid of war and is saved by his father's 15 votes which is a disgrace to both varadha and his father. So, being brave and handling his own enemies himself, even if he does it's a proud moment for him. His father would have done the same thing if he was in varadha's place. That's why he says-- " even I have rajamannar's blood flowing in me.
John Vijay-He's a tamil actor.... that guy who is the head of zombies... and in tamil his modulation would be terrific

Deva saving everybody while they were being attacked with swords at the same time was smthg left to the imagination of audience. It is a bit exaggerated. But I know this is how Prashant Neel uses these moments to excite the audience.
I will guess how it unfolds cinematically with whatever I know of Neel . First sequence, Deva will somehow kill the guy who is going to slash him from behind. Then the camera will pan on other villains. They will be shown surprised and will stop their sword mid-way and run to kill Deva but he kills everybody.
For your information prabhas only sopke for 2 and half minutes in the whole movie
