I'd expand it beyond the 'pop culture' genre and apply that more broadly to ALL collectors, whatever they collect. Collectors could learn off each other.
I'm interested less-so on WHAT people collect, but HOW they collect. I'm interested in what drives their collecting, how they display their collection, what steps (if any) they've taken to preserve their collection, how has their collection evolved (the trials and tribulations), what will their future collection look like, and what they plan on doing with their collection later in life (or, God forbid) when they are gone. I'm interested in the connections they've made in their 'journey' in collecting that have helped expand their collection. I'm of the belief that my collection shouldn't cost me money - the collection itself should be self-sustaining - so I'm interested to hear from those collectors who have sold pieces of their collection in order to fund its expansion.
I'm not a pop culture collector - or even fan - but it's the above thoughts that drive my own collecting, keep me interested in collecting, help me evolve as a collector, and will (hopefully) make me a more efficient collector. After all, we're all merely curators for future generations.

I really enjoyed this episode and for me It been a really amazing experience for me starting my autograph collection since 2021 and it has given me experiences that I will never forget and items I never thought I would ever get like a official private signing from Michael Keaton Tom hiddestion James Arnold Taylor etc and autograph UA-cam and SWAU got me into collecting autographs
