Any long-standing paramilitarized empire has to include a famously resilient mountainside-or-top fortress metropolis. Behold! The City of the White Wolf welcomes your entrance, but only without secrecy. Good policy. Holy Laughing God, the guy at 3:48 wearing the miniature castle on top of his head is trying to pull his own spontaneous impression of an Emperor Titan in 40k. But, uh, I'm not nearly as intimidated by him. Any graf governing this place has to successively inherit a stout, stiff-upper-lip attitude, especially with 'fellows' in authority and even regarding any emperor. Middenheim's got the history to back up such stance. The Todbringers' ancestry coming from a knightly order just reinforces such a necessary personality. Despite the density of some areas to its layout, a more consistent verticality to Middenheim's design is obviously required. It's lucky and somewhat surprising that the Northern sections of this city are where the mansions and recreation for the rich are located...being that that's the side foremost facing any invasion of hostility from the North. I guess that's where the preferred views are. The undercity of Middenheim would be a treasure of a ratmen's nest of would-be adventuring - send in the Black Hearts. That's a hearty number of city guards assigned to each gate. I'm interested in visiting the Fortress of the Fist Strike just to experience its distinct fixation upon Ulric. And the Dwarf presence. Because I can't visit this urban center personally, its mountainous location would provide new heights and sights through an Assassin's Creed-like parkour exploratory experience that surpasses the Empire's other major cities. I'd enjoy that kind of interactive mod, if a developer ever made such. Sigvald's a dandy next to Siegfried. Middenheim's military colors are also quite sharp and stylish; alternating either that dark navy blue or the black. The uniforms' designs are also well-chosen rather than garish. Those 'house' flags and banners all convey a sense of strong class, too. How's this town's sense of partying compare to Altdorf's? Does its order of knights hold any competitions with those of the capital or any other city? Idle wonderings. This was another terrific introduction to another city, GDN. I love this Warhammer-enriching series on Imperial cities. Thank you very much for presenting it, Narrator! May you be well, have an awesome week and Ulric guide your weapon hand.
Hey Mike that's funny😆 about the headpiece you mentioned on top Of Graf Boris todbringer one thing that always confuse 🤔me was the clothing I don't know if it's Renaissance Are Medieval times are what you pointed out with the strange Headpiece yeah sometimes Warhammer fantasy has strange and unusual in clothing that's for sure
@@donright4492 That guy I pointed out's the graf!? I've never read, seen or heard of any Todbringer going about with a flaming Lego set from the Dark Ages on his head. "Some miscreant has taken exception to my hair palace and my ramparts are under siege!" As for the clothing design...I don't know, I would guess a kind of 'advanced' Renaissance; like with the average style of the Empire's technology (before any outright fantasy touches).
Yep Mike that was todbringer Lego headpiece oh boy you've done it again you broke 😁😆😅😂🤣😭me I hope Grimdark do something of a fashion Of the Warhammer fantasy because It would be interesting 🤔 and to understand correct fashion in Warhammer fantasy

Lance von Carsteins Shadow over middenheim
As Gurnee van ostrom the Burgomaster
Frightened and in a hurry he was looking for his chest of hidden gold crowns knocking things over when a soft dark sinister light voice of a bretonnia erupting out of the darkness of the room I think you're looking for this Gurnee turn around seeing Lance in the eerie light of the fireplace
Lance I didn't know you were back from
The Port L' anguille. you thought it was bloody funny Helping Matthias betray my Master's months ago sending Warp tainted slaves to drakenhof No I
was just shh Lance replied with his elongated finger talon looking Gurnee in the eyes I'm afraid that this city is about to fall you mean he's here already here Lance smirk a sharp fang grin that's bloody right vlad's armies are here and about ready to fall on this place
Then Gurnee look right out the window past many buildings of middenheim down below outside the many huge multi level walls and defense towers
As he saw a massive war host Of zombies and skeletons as Vlad
Rode on his dark nightmare rising
It up into the air pointing his sword
Outward ready to meet the knights of the white wolf Gurnee looked on in horror Lance slowly approached behind him in the shadows grabbing him by
the Neck he felt Lance's breath as
he whispered in Gurnee ear
Do enjoy The view for it is your
last as Lance Fangs Appeared
Plunging into his neck Gurnee
Screamed out loud as the last thing
he seen before being pulled into the darkness of the study room was
Thousands of the ghost-like Wraith's
Ascending on middenheim wall's
Next bretonnia city and fortress..❤❤
It's gonna be Empire cities for a while...
Wolf town.
1st to 1st, 1st to like, 13th to watch something particularly odd today
A lot of this is just taken directly from other people's writings without credit.
It's taken from the wiki, which is taken from the codexes.
