Unveiling The Mysteries Of Black Tusk And The Garibaldi Volcano In British Columbia
Вставка
- Опубліковано 6 вер 2024
- From caves to volcanoes to rainforests, Canada’s landscape is vast and varying. Jamie and Francois begin by exploring the link that link that exists between the Pacific Ocean and the coastal rainforests of British Columbia. A single species, salmon, serves as the connector between these two habitats. The team then visits the volcanic plateau of Mount Edziza in British Columbia, hiking Black Tusk Mountain, and flying over Mount Garibaldi before finally finishing with a speleology expedition to discover the hidden secrets directly under our feet in the secret underground world of caves.

I'm born and raised in Beautiful British Columbia, an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and am awestruck at the beauty that you all captured in this wonderful adventure! Thank you for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed!!
@@TRACKSTravelDocs is it really necessary to put that many ads in your video. Even greedy UA-camrs space em at like 10 minutes
That's what I figured
Not always fishing. Playing catching and dropping...that's what I see the bears doing.
Please ...what year was this documentary made?
I applaud all those who have given up part of their lives for this wonderful project. Thank you no one understands how important this is I am an disabled veteran who used to fish, hike and canoe.
Pretty sure they were paid well and enjoyed the entire trip! Such a privilege to see the secrets underneath our waistcoats ocean.
I hope you find yourself once again in the raw outdoors.
Wow. An ad every 5 minutes. Fantastic
Get UA-cam premium you cheapskate no ads ever..
Seriously tho the ads are out of hand
I can never go back to non-premium UA-cam. Every time you switch apps the video stops, ads, can’t download videos, music, etc. My mind is blown seeing reaction channels skipping through ads. There’s no going back.
@@BlueCollarMafia that's exactly what they want.
@@cavelvlan25 and realistically how is paying for premium any different than paying for a streaming service that just has slightly different benefits. Watch whatever you want, whenever, no ads. Sounds like Netflix and Hulu, etc, to me
I love how they've showcased so many different organizations that you can support to help protect these areas. Without our help, beautiful places like they show can be forever lost.
Oh wow! Fascinating and awe-inspiring footage. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to view this free on UA-cam. Hopefully it inspires people to protect these areas, ecosystems and wildlife in perpetuity.
Can you imagine the bond that is formed between these men? To go where no man has gone before, even though the earth is hundreds of millions of years old. I’d be interested in seeing them together, talking among themselves about these experiences. Amazing stuff, finding microorganisms that have the power to fight the most resistant strains of bacteria. Incredible how they made the correlation of how a whole population was wiped out by how one volcanic eruption, moved, how the speed of the lava eruption encased and devoured everything in it’s path and that the toxic fumes themselves was probably what killed them. Was it fire that led the path to life in the first place? Only by these kind of people do we have this kind of information that they discovered. My mind is very busy rite now. Thank you for this! ❤
Many people have been where they are.
I really enjoyed watching this Film. I do admire those who helped making this Film possible. Thanks. Javaid Malik...
This is an amazing documentary! I learned a lot and as with anything, the more you learn, the more questions you have. But that's why science is so exciting! One thing I always have to remind myself, is that scientists speak as if all their suppositions , and those made before them, are stated as fact. It would be more accurately stated " we think that 65 million years ago.....". Unless you were there nothing is fact. Just very informed guesswork. Fascinating guesswork. At one time I also thought that if I worked hard enough , studied hard enough I could figure out the answers to all my questions. What folly! And wouldn't it be a boring world if we could.Thank you TRACKS for bringing us the wonderful series of documentaries.
Your thoughts are almost synchronised with mine .
When we look at the past , we have to think about the other scientific research that was disavowed.
Like catastrophism.
IMO , formed from much broader sources of information than , uniformitarianism,I believe dinosaur type beings and modern humans were living alongside each other.
However, still all information is tailored now for scientifica .
A brilliant documentary none the less.
Right the fact is stated with absolute certainty beyond question@@chrisclark4112
When I think of these guys and the guys that wade into volcanic mug pots and geysers looking for extremophile microbes to use for medicine they really are unsung heroes
Unbelievably beautiful. What a magical career and adventure ✨️
Awesome. Salmon and bears, great people care. !!!BRAVO !!!! Northwest Canada is gorgeous. The tall trees, rain forests, plants, and insects. A thousand years old tree. "Awe." Nature!!!! Caves are extraordinary. Research on bats is so important. I find them interesting and actually beautiful. Caves that no man has seen and cave diving. What bliss!!World. We are grateful for all the scientists, biologists, and geological scientists (good science for our world). Thank you all!! Volcanoes of BC, let's go.

Wish I had studied biology in college.
I'm so claustrophobic I CAN'T watch the cave video when they have to squeeze through small spaces.
I think claustrophobia is related to birth and especially being the first born.
My heart rate goes up...I want to scream.
I live in a magical country also and we all need to look after it all in its entirety for future generations so breathtaking
I cannot imagine diving into a 400-metre subterranean stream to connect two caves. The thought is terrifying. Curiosity killed the cat, and many spelunkers. I am aware of at least six times I've been close to death, although, like most of us, there have probably been more events unknown. One was in a wet limestone cave... Rappelling down a cliff next to a waterfall was OK, but prusiking back up became a drenching, freezing, close brush with disaster. Nightmares still haunt me. I will always stay in daylight whenever I am away from home. Never again will I go where I cannot see the daytime sun. Never.
Very intense comment
It's sound haunting to say the least
I love living in Washington. My favorite spot is the tip of the Olympic Peninsula. I vote protect it!
Those folks out in nature with all their gear n doing studies are all badasses. Pretty cool. 🥂 Really fun to perceive how much they enjoy the work.
Incredible...I got a touch of anxiety during that squeeze though!
it is a very beautiful place....but the logging companies are working very hard at destroying it and getting the last trees....i give no hope for mankind anymore ....when loggers will tell me they can just replant the trees...as they cut down a 2 thousand year old tree.....i cry....because they only see dollars signs...while i see beauty and life....maybe next time after this catacylsm we can start over with a clean slate
Stunning! Thank you
That was a great walk through the Forrest wow. Great start so far
I was born and raised on Vancouver Island British Columbia and my whole life has been spent outdoors in the wilderness of our beautiful province and also 50+years on a Harley and I have been where no man has ever been and you have captured that same experience here
Awesome show from start to finish. Thank you!
British Columbia's coastal rainforest probably one of my most favorite places in the whole world I live in the southern San Joaquin valley of California but I've been to Canada several times and I hope to go back again.

Great documentary
Although the dubbing is actually very good, as a fluent French and English speaker I wish they would have used sub-titles instead.

What is name of that lille light airoplane, or flying machine .. Where to buy it and at what price?
..em..
They're called ultra light aircraft in the USA, or at least I believe thats their classification. I have a funny feeling if you have to ask where to buy one in youtube comments, you may want to purchase a life insurance policy first.
Also unless you buy one from someone who assembled it, most come as a kit without an engine and you have to source the right engine yourself and all that. It's a really big toy for those who are really into aero

do caves not have geothermal temperature control? I've seen ice caves that were really caves made of ice.i guess i assumed they would stay temperate just like anything under ground does. can someone tell me why they dont?
Canada is truly beautiful. We'd love it there.
It’s under Fascist laws under Justin Castro Junior so no you wouldn’t.
Besides being born and raised on Vancouver Island where I spent every waking moment in the wilderness or riding my Harley I also spent many years working as a civilian employee of the Canadian Navy as a CFAV "Canadian Forces Auxiliary Vessels".. On an Ocean Research Vessel called the Endeavour where one of our tasks was researching underwater volcanoes and it was us who discovered the now famous Endeavour Vents and we held the world record for the deepest dredge of over a mile down and also the world record for finding gold by dredging over a mile down and we were one of the first ships to test the now popular ROVs that are used everywhere
Didn't mention that the kelp is essential to the herring, where they lay their eggs
Geez, that was great !
Best neighbors a country could ever hope for!
Yes, Canada is lucky.
THAT WHITE BLACK BEAR IN THIS VIDEO. IS THE MISSING LINK TO POLAR BEARS. VERY VERY COOL!
The Great Bear RainForest is a magical place! I love living in Beautiful British Columbia!
I'm sure most people aware of the B.C. Coast will know those are not sea-otter, early in the video, but river otter, quite ubiquitous now.
Curious , do caver explorers for medical science pack out all bio to prevent polluting these pristine areas on the planet?
Yes
Cavers are supposed to at least
Seven subspecies of Ferns on Haida Gwaii & the wee single fern on trees are a sweet Licorice flavour and used to sustain them when hunting, fishing or travelling. The Salal is deciduous but never looses its leaves, berries edible and awesome in floral arrangements.
The ice Cave is amazing...like a dream, Canada.
Mainstream academy needs to admit it's cover-ups and so information like this can stand aside from the corruption
“Fun-jie” Never heard anyone pronounce it that way before. So do you pronounce it “fun-jus” instead of fungus? Just thought it was funny. Super great video. Thanks. :)
I enjoyed all 3 episodes, but only the last one was specific to volcanoes, so I don't find the title very accurate
B.C.'s west coast is without a doubt the most beautiful area of Canada, if not all of North America.
Great review
Breathtaking, thanks from thailand

How do they get the ropes into the trees in the first place?
The natural pulse of the earth still exists, even in New York. However we humans have fractured so much of it, it's now difficult to recognize.

Cool sea weed forests 😊
whats the cam stream link?
That won’t be the creator’s fault. I’m premium so get no adverts at all.
its kinda scary that we cant measure any rock older then 10000 years since most of the earths surface was not only baked under lava it was also flooded destroying any evidence before that event.

Is it not interesting how much faith we invest in millions of years - even though we have never observed it?
That was beautiful but I was mad that they were climbing the ancient trees. Can we not admire them without putting ropes and boots on the delicately balanced ecosystems living on the bark, branches, and leaves?
so its tested on bats first then human populations after .for them who picked up on the masonic hints from the video
The largest rain forest untouched by man is definitely not in British Columbia
This guy has a bear fetish. Yes it might be the largest bear habitat rain forest untouched by man. But definitely not the largest rain forest untouched by man.
Nice to get paid to have fun, but at least some things are monitored and registered.
I think the salmon population was fine until the White man showed up.
Sadly, Yes you are right.
However, I believe that the First Nations came Over from the Biering Straits with Sabé and Others, from the Russian Urals to the US.
I'm sorry if I don't explain this very well, but English is not my 1st language.

I'm white, and a man. If I showed up. The salmon would be fine. What does color have to do with it. You mean before wicked men showed up... color is irrelevant for man's heart is desperately wicked...

Yes. There are Sasquatch and they can be dangerous.
The whole situation is crude... not naturally green and will destroy, eventually, their instinct.
I think.

Why is the Narrator whispering, afraid to startle the fish?
Insecticides can wipe out bat populations too
Why is gold and precious stones never found underwater
They are, you never saw the underwater gold divers off Nome Alaska?
