I have heard that within the context of scripture, that this verse is talking about church discipline and either removing people who are in sin and unwilling to repent. That we don't have any authority to bind our loose demons that even the arch angel with all of his power called upon God to bind Satan. How are we suppose to know what is really going on if Christians can't even agree on what scripture is actually saying. I'm. So confused.

Jesus never bound any spirits. In fact when the woman that was bowed he layed hands on her and said woman i loose you from ur infirmity ...he didnt bind the spirit of infirmity.

Love your ministry and your teachings. We are to do what Jesus does and I’m confused. He never bound anything. He loosed people but I don’t see scriptures saying he bounded people or bounded spirits. Where in scripture did Jesus teach this. Thank you.

Matthew 18, binding and loosing has nothing to do with prayer.
Do You know what a Bet Din is ? It's about our walk.
The context of this chapter is about dealing with correction in the body
    of Messiah.

Did you hear what the Bible says? Jesus/Yeshua has given US the authorities to USE them to cast out demons and rebuke them to set the captives free!! Hallelujah!

The gospel is what binds and looses in the case of salvation. We as believers witness it and if the subject hears it then it is from there the work of the Holy Spirit, which directly points to Christ’s work on the cross and resurrection. The key phrase in Matt 18 is ‘if he listens’, but this is concerning a believer. We really have no authority over a person’s decision power. We can step up the so called ‘intervention’ to the level of church order and authoritatively excommunicate the individual from the congregation, but we have no authority to remove salvation or ‘life’ from the individual. This also raises the question, will all believers enter or participate in the kingdom of God as a manner of privilege? I think some believers will be sitting in the bleachers in heaven having to watch the game so to speak.

Those of us who walk in the spirit and have tasted reality of life in Israel know comprehensively,,
    what this is all about.
Coupled with the fact it is necessary to be in obedience in order to have that power of anointing.
In which very rarely do I get anywhere near anyone in the USA Christian Community that is.
Typically, most they are so bound up what the enemy has beguiled them with , the enemy has them so looped into things they can't even tell it.
Most have as much power as they have discernment in that is not enough to play a game of marbles.
Pretty sad entity as as whole.

silly....this is NOT... what that verse(binding and loosing) is about... we cant make one hair white or black.... [Mat 5:36 KJV] 36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.

I would like to see more videos on this subject. I have never really been taught about this in the church.

@@aleciahsims if you examine the verse and think about what Jesus is talking about BEFORE and AFTER the verse(Matthew 18:18) you might realize The Lord Jesus is speaking of forgiving(loosing) the sins we and our brother are bound to if we don't forgive and attempt to reconcile(be forgiven) of others as described in the Lord's prayer(Matthew 6:15)
Matthew 18:35 KJV - So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
