I really appreciate the instructor and the new option for a simple wrap. Her voice is calm and she’s very easy to follow in front of the camera. I’d love to see her demonstrate the wrap in a couple different styles or scarf types so we can see the difference. I miss the longer, demo or maybe even Q&A videos from a variety of instructors or hosts.

One of my absolute favorite wraps! I like it best with scarves that have beautiful ends, like the Watercolor Dream scarf. The tail shows the pattern wonderfully! Otherwise I don't make the tail, I just tuck in the last edge.

I'm a beginner at headwrapping and this tutorial is very helpful; you explain things very clearly. There's one thing I'm wondering about, though: You only used one scarf here, but in other tutorials that use 2 scarves to layer, does it get hot or uncomfortable at all on warmer days, what with the shaper and non-slip headband...? Or does that depend on the type of scarf you use...? I noticed you used a very light-almost see through-scarf here.
It depends on the material and thickness of the scarf. On very hot days I only use the velvet headband to keep it in place and a simple cotton quare scarf and it actually is much cooler than having the hair down.

How does the shaper itself stay on your head? i don't have the usual bump people have in the back of my head, so normal headband type things don't stay on my head. Would the shaper stay put without any clips or pins?
Hi There! Most of our Shapers stay on with either a velcro closure or a band of our special grippy velvet. Only the Classic Shaper stays on with fabric ties, but you MUST wear it together with a No-Slip Headband to prevent it and your scarves from slipping. We hope this helps!

This is a beautiful wrap. I had stopped using rectangle scarves because I was getting bored and do t like the long tails, but this is fancy without being over the top and looks pretty easy to do. I’ll have to try it tomorrow. Thanks for the new option!
