The Australian Camel Milk Industry Forum held in May 2017 was supported by AgriFutures Australia and invited Australia camel milk industry stakeholders to hear presentations on themes including; health and disease management, nutrition management, husbandry and hygiene and staff training, dairy management and selective breeding.
New and emerging animal industries play an important part in the Australian agricultural landscape. In addition to contributing to the national economy they provide alternative enterprises to rural and regional communities. Camel milk is an example of a relatively new and emerging industry.
