That is the first time either Robert or I have been there that we've had to take the high road. I wasn't sure there was one until I watched the video footage and noticed it when we road off the suspension bridge. In the video you can actually see where the low road comes up to the high road just before going over the dam. It's not that we are really getting lost all the time, but there seems to be multiple roads or trails going to the same places, you just have to try and remember them when you ride with the group and the older we get the worse our memories seem to be. So ya, we get lost most every ride...... Like Robert always says, "It's an Adventure"......
I spotted this when I woke up this morning, but I put off watching it until now, so I could watch it non-stop in it's entirety on the big screen TV.. sort of like taking time to savor a fine beer.. I wish I had been along on the ride, but the video is much appreciated. I think I heard Robert say he was riding a CRF, but I didn't get the full name of it. I see in the comment from @bobharker52 that it is a CRF250L. Also, I never heard the medical report from the Chiang Mai Hospital about the Gecko and El Diablo. I hope their recovery is going smoothly. Two thumbs up on the video.
We have both gotten our CT bikes back from the Hospitals, and I put the medical report in the description of the ride just below my Lazy Dog Productions logo. I was going to put in some text messages on them but the video was long enough the way it was. Lots of editing on this one as we had two cameras going and shot well over 2 hours of footage. I need to get with Robert when he gets back and set our cameras up to the same settings as my footage looks a bit dull to how sharp his is. Mine should be just as good because I have the Hero 11 and he has the Hero 10. I'll get it set up to match his so our footage meshes better......
@@Vintage_Garage Robert says he can notice the gain in power from the guy with the Dyno fine tuning his ECU. El' Diablo is a little rocket ship now. That new head and Camshaft combo seems to have given the top end on it some increase. Not really what I was looking for, but it is nice to twist that throttle every once in a while......🏍
I love the small honda bikes, contemplating swapping my big bike for 2 cts for me and my gf... to get deeper into the tracks around chiang mai. I used to drive a super cub around australia which was awesome fun.
Looks like a nice trip to the lake. I drove the small country backroad from Pai to Doi Inthanon a few years ago and stopped to take a closer look at a group of water buffalo lounging in a mudhole right at the edge of the road. They all got up and I chickened out and slowly backed away back to my Toyota Yaris rental. Did Robert have the CRF250L before the Gecko?
I do believe Robert had the CRF before he got the Gecko CT. He rides that Gecko CT all over the place around where we live. He pretty much knows all the little roads by memory, and of course where all the beer stops are......
I wait until the video has uploaded in HD before turning on the public viewing of the videos. Sometimes you have to click on the little settings icon and set the video to HD for it to show the footage in HD. I double check mine before watching any video on UA-cam now because the setting doesn't always go to HD....
@@thebikegeekandmore2448 No way, it's just that we all have lives away from the bikes, have to respect that for all of us.... At Jurassic Park , don't feed the T-rex !
You take the low road , and I'll take the high road !
Nice trip !

@@TeamDNFracing Sounds good.. you are lucky to have knowledgeable speed shops there and in-country accessories available. We have none here.
@@Vintage_Garage Now you know why I'm so happy. Life is good for me living in the "Land of Smiles"...... Great place to retire in....

This really was a fun ride and a great lunch at the end of it. Can't wait for Robert to get back from his job so we can follow him around again......
Hi Eddie you ok now?
Feeling much better, go on a ride when I can and have lots of yard work to keep me busy... I'd rather be riding though.......
The video on my end looks like low resolution. Did you shoot in higher resolution? But the content is great as usual.
The video resolution looks like high resolution at my end.. same resolution as the rest of the channel's videos.

Daniel?
Daniel had plans that day, but will be in some videos we've already shot just need to edit them..... He missed a fun ride.....
@@TeamDNFracing I thought that he got expelled from the Group :-)
