I would like to add that off camera I ordered a new timing chain and tensioner and replaced it before installing the engine back in the car. At the time of this comment I officially hit 1000 miles on the engine and the engine is running very smooth and strong and glad to say even with the loss of the Triple Webers. The combination of a rebuilt engine, slightly higher compression and very mild headwork, I can confidently say this is the fastest and smoothest the car has ever been.
Nice video, I have a N42 block L28 with a early E88 head with 280Z valves, header, triple Weber 40DCOEs, dished pistons setup in my 240Z. Runs good on today's fuel and has pretty good power.
Nice, that was the combo I had prior to the combo in this video. N42 block with an E88 but pretty sure it was a late E88 head I had. I recently picked up a 240z and plan on going back to that setup or to N42 block and N42 head combo with hopefully EFI ITBS.
Lovely build man! When I picked up my 76 it came with a bored and stroked N42 block that was pairs to a P90 head with flat top pistons. There’s a big question what my actual compression is but since swapping out to the DCOE40s I haven’t really worried about it since.
Thanks man, you have a pretty sweet combination. The p90 head is a low compression head but your flattop pistons helped a lot. If I had to guess your compression is somewhere between 8.4 to 8.7 depending on your head gasket and how much material was removed from your block and head. I'll miss my triple Weber's but I think I'll enjoy the drivability of the OEM FI.
You don’t want that Kamari oil pump. It’s a high PSI pump. I made the same mistake. Constant 80-90psi is way too high. Robs HP and the seals won’t last as long.

Did you sell your triples?
Hey, yes I sold them a couple months ago.

Do more gta
When GTA 6 comes out I might make a couple of videos assuming when have a rockstar editor again.
