Yes Oreo Whity. The fake one didn’t even last long enough even after fully charged. It only last after less than 100 normal shots without flash. Comparing it side by side wth the original one, you can really tell the difference and how cheaply made it is.
I also purchased that counterfeit battery half year ago. At the bottom is written: CELL: MADE IN JAPAN, FURTHER PROCESSED IN INDONESIA 2INP6/34/46 R18-MA I also noticed the different font type. And also the contacts are not the same, the orginal have them more tight, so the same needle does not fit between the contacts of the original, but it fit the counterfeit. The counterfeit has lower capacity than the original. During the regular shooting it is not so noticable (a little bit less ammount of shots), but I can notice it significantly in LiveView mode, when the fully charged counterfeit battery is mostly indicated near discharged, after 5-6 shots.
Just got one from Amazon that looks exactly like your suspected fake. I was immediately suspicious by the way the instructions were wrinkled and folded and the difference in appearance from my cameras original battery. Also the security foil is very close but slightly different it's especially noticable under a camera lense. Mine says T36Y at the bottom

Just me I am using a D5300 too, what lenses have you got? You can check my review on the 18-140, 70-300 and 18-300mm on my channel as well. Currently i am using Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 DXii, 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3, 85mm f/1.8 and Raynox DCR-250 for macro

Just by the printing one can tell it's fake. Now I bought two batmax. I prefer an alternative brand than an imitation of the original one.
@@OneRiley my batmax arrived today. And came with a charger that charges two batteries at once. And the charger is pretty small to carry, I wish nikon made those.
Sometimes 3rd parties have extra added features than the original. Hope it’ll work well. I have a 3rd party dual charger the batteries of my Sony camera, and it works like a charm.
Yeah mate, would be very cautious buying those items again, i even got a fake Hoya UV filter, it will be a noce practice buying it from a reputable physical retail shop.
i recieved this battery today. and when i putted it into my camera a sign apeared: this camera cant read this battery. But now my camera doesnt read the original one i had either. Any solutions?
First time i heard that even the “original” won’t work. Something probably happened with the contact pins. Maybe try a flashlight and swab the pins with some cotton buds

And I attempted to use it last time since 2 of my original batteries been flat, and it never last after less than a hundred shots.

I also bought one online. Shopee PH. So before purchasing the item I ask the seller if the battery is original. Seller said yes. Check the review everbody says its original. And has high rating. But when my paclage arrive. I became suspicious coz rhe weight is lighter comoared to the original one. And also the video here is exactky the same with what I recieved. Cant belive peoplw would say its original. I karma will do its job to them . Really pissed 🤬🤬

Video doest not help 100 % ,all depends of selling world place Nikon fabrication, Nikon has many fabrics around the world with many differences on package and material
Philippe I believe you should click the link on the video description above because although Nikon has many manufacturing plants around the globe, they warned on their official website about their units being imitated from battery, filter, charger, etc. this battery i’ve got didn’t even last more than 100 shots after fully charged.

That’s true Zoltán Bogoly. That’s why it’s a good habit to buy from trusted retailers, as some online sellers’ price is too good to be true.
