I'm a regular city paramedic and sometimes get called to dementia patients who have wandered out onto the streets in their night clothes. They look and sound exactly like Joe Biden here. The same fragments, sentences and shards, that make sense in themselves but are part of a set of broken, nonsensical pieces. That is the sadness of dementia, you get glimpses of the person they were and a sense of irretrievable loss. But for someone like this to be President of the USA........ there are not words to describe how evil the people behind this are.
Please respect the aged as they die, there is something very private about that final stage before one's death. This man was a public figure for some years after leaving the Presidency. He was also criticized as well and that was fair as a continuation of the fact that he had been a president representing the American people during his time. That time is past, he is no longer representing the public and this stage of his long life is NOT a public situation. His family surely has a responsibility to respect his image as he prepares to leave the world so many, many years AFTER his public life. He could just as easily have been in a private room hearing the planes fly by and not been exhibited in such a fashion. Many people have dying relatives too but would never bring them out to be photographed in public like that.
