Singapura ada hubungan baik dengan kedua-duanya. Sebab itu ianya memberi bantuan kemanusiaan kepada mangsa peperangan dan memohon gencatan senjata dari pemimpin yang menyerang itu selain daripada mengundi perkara yang sama di Pertubuhan Bersatu. Jadi tiada isu hipokrit cuma berbuat yang terbaik berlandaskan prinsip negara. Semasa Singapura dipisahkan dari Malaysia, ianya tiada pertahanan negara dan pihak itu yang menghulurkan bantuan membina pertahanan negara Singapura. Jadi nak tak nak kena bersikap kenang budi tetapi tidaklah sampai menyetujui apa saja pihak itu lakukan.
