It’s even more hilarious when you remember that the whole Red Wheelbarrow restaurant is just the Dark Army front and Irving is one of the Dark Army’s top officers. He’s just messing with the girl who doesn’t know that he’s basically one of her bosses
MystLY she’s working for them, intentionally or not. I don’t mean she’s supposed to know it, but Irving clearly does, and he’s messing with her nevertheless and that’s what I found funny
Funnier to think of it as Irving messing with the Dark Army cover, pretending he's just a regular guy bothered by how the system works, which is precisely what the Dark Army is fighting. In other words, Irving is doing what anyone who isn't part of Dark Army / Fsociety should do, which is challenging the non-sense from this whole business-driven world while average people just don't get the point.
@@KusabiTetsugoro I disagree. I dont think he is messing with her at all. He is asking a valid question, i would do the same... It is a valid question to ask, not "messing" with someone...
Has anyone ever actually encountered a policy like this? "On the next visit" is such an insane, stupid concept. Irving is right to be confused, it makes no sense.
It makes sense from a business standpoint. A next visit that isn't redeemable on the visit that it was gotten on forces you to return to the establishment and potentially buy something with your free milkshake.

Because COVID there is a clothing store that only permits to use the dressers once per visit. And I recalled this scene and in a very calm way I tried to ask what qualifies as another visit. 24hrs? After one purchase? Leaving and entering the site again? and the sales person didn't know as well what would be a "next visit" window haha
Old comment but.. since this is kind of a coupon it would make sense to use it in tandem with your order But when he got it he already ordered, so he would have to place a new, different order to use it I think the cashier just didn't use the right words to explain because she never questioned the policy herself She never thought about what 'on your next visit' really means and has been mindlessly repeating that phrase because it's been drilled into her
I wish they would do a spin off about Irving. I want to know how he started in the dark army, how did he climb the ranks, especially after what he said to the dark army assistant in the season 3 finale
years before, Mr. Irving and his family moved to a new house and starts getting letters from the Watcher. frustrated with life he joins Dark Army. the Watcher who haunted his family was Mr. Robot!

I'll be honest I dont even like Irving. He is the Maik Ehrmanntraut of Mr. Robot but he was implemented in a worse way. I dont know why I should even like the character. He manipulates, he has never been involved in a fight, everything he does pretty much works out and we never see him do a mistake. I immediately fell for this character. SUCH an original and just timeless! Awesome. It’s almost a Coen brothers or Tarantino vibe.
