A recipe for traditional malt loaf. This traditional British tea bread is made with malt extract and black treacle which give this bread it’s distinctive sticky and squidgy texture and sweet malted flavour. Best matured for 2-3 days before slicing and spreading with lots of butter. This is a really easy to make.
