As a Quest 2 owner, I can confirm that our battery is not short, it takes 2 hours for my headset to die and if your batteries drain fast then you need to take better care of your headset or get a new one

If you got a little extra cash to put into it, I recommend kiwi products. Especially the battery head strap and 16ft cable. Pair this with a SATA powered USB 3.0 card in your pc, and you're gaming 🤙🏾 It balances the headset out with weight in the back, and with this setup I don't really lose much battery, maybe 10% in a couple of hours!
The only reason wye it goes so fast is cuz your having fun but you actually get up to 2 and a half to 3 hours of play time wich is plenty if you wanna be healthy

its actually oculus rift and both pcvr and rift are connected to a pc. meaning it does not have a battery. Google cardboard depends on the battery of the phone you put in. now quest 2's battery is kinda janky which is why i have a batteryy pack to add about 4 more hours of playtime
im not sure if the video maker known that the rift , and vive does not come with a batterry. but if you ever used a phone you might know that the screen is taking up most of your battery so it does not realy matter if you doing pc vr or standalone. and also the gpu still gona work a lot for texture streaming. and also the quest using openxr in its os as well.

The Quest 2 battery life all depends how frequency you use and how old your device is batteries where down after time so the fact that your battery if it dies pretty quickly more faster than the quest 3 that means your headset battery life is pretty low cuz my dad had a 3-year-old three headset and he said he charged it for 2 hours and it only lasted for 50 minutes it was at 100% can I have a Oculus Quest two headset and it is also 3 year old but I didn't use it for 2 years so my battery dies fast yes but it can last me for 2 hours but when I plug it into my PC using a Link cable it lasts for 5 hours

My quest 2 is a couple months old and the battery life is pretty good, but I got a deal on a bobovr head strap for 40$ with a battery so I took it
I don’t play much but mine will still last 2-3 hours depending on what I’m playing.
