Thank you. The Volvo is a million times better than the DAF. The twin steer is terrible for reversing on bays etc. though. It’s live driving a cruise liner, going forward in a straight line it’s perfect but turning it takes a whole ocean of room! I’d still prefer a Scania. 😁

Another excellent vlog there Sherralin, much appreciated. Surprised to see so much rain in sunny Portugal. One of my favorite country’s and our oldest ally, always found them very friendly. I’ve been on fridges now for almost a year now and at my age I got to say I’m not missing the euro liners, a pair of gloves last me months now rather than just a few days. The rain in Portugal falls mainly on Sherralin. 😂😂 The scenery still looks amazing, even with the inclement weather and the Formula 1 bits. 🤣🤣 That was a very nice place where you picked up your last load, the palm trees gave it a sort of tropical vibe, pity about the rain. 😅😅 Once again thanks for a really interesting video, which definitely wasn't too long. On your twenty four does the Company mind you leaving the vehicle if you were loaded? I've heard some insist you stay with it. Think it's a great idea if you can go out and about.

If you are on a 24hr break you are allowed to use your time as you wish. If you are loaded then parking somewhere secure is required.

They have weighed them before loading. They get paid by weight & size so they’re not going to give anything away.
But I agree a weight bridge would be a good idea.

By loads wrongly I’m thinking you mean, loaded in the wrong order, if this happens I just work around it. Most of our loads are full loads, only the markets are multi drop.
I meant completely the wrong stuff but I expect you are very careful to check things. It was just a ‘what if’. It’s probably never happened to you, I expect not. Thanks for replying. Phil - Suffolk.

I picked up some square vats off acid or costic something , in derby years ago for italy ,the guy came out in full has chem suit wellingtons and mask 1 hour to load . And In Italy the guy came out on his fork truck in shorts and a manchester united T shirt trainers did me in 20 minutes all done .

And once i parked in yugoslavia / slovacia now about 1988maybe 1992 realy years ago, And i swear i saw bears in the truck stop and wild boar eating out off the bins with huge tusks ,but bears yes lots off them ,
When I drove, didn't have a jake brake on the truck, used my engine and shifting to get down hills. Have a very merry Xmas!
Yep, get organised at the top, right speed, right gear. Never come down a hill faster than you’d go up it. 😁👍🏻

I went to see some penguins once near savona in italy, on my break and they wouldnt come near me .The girl in charge said its becouse you have gloves on ,take your gloves off and i did, and they all flocked and gave me a hugg they didnt understand my blue gloves .
