I made homemade soup today and added fresh ginger and dried turmeric along with black pepper. Also added fresh garlic for anti-inflammatory eating.
I also make tea with a combination of turmeric, ginger, Moringa, and green teas.

boil freshly grated fresh ginger and turmeric including cloves, cardamom and cinnamon bark for some minutes. Then add dried Tulsi tea and after some minutes add lemon juice and honey or jaggery. Strain it and drink it. Sometimes I add to the Tulsi tea some dried Thyme.

Goodday to all members of the public. It is quite inspiring to note that learning from the experienced elders is good all the time. Never undermine the elderly advise on aspects of life improvement tendencies and health conscious lifestyle .
Learn from the adults and matured citizens. It has a good bearing on the health care and stability on long-term care.
Thanks for the notification of good health care benefits

Awesome as always! I started making a "tea", more like a boullion really, a couple of years ago & loved it - then family troubles threw me off track & I stopped, probably when I needed it most! 🙆🏼‍♀️ Just started making it again: Turmeric, pinch of black pepper, ginger, bit of mixed mushrooms powder, & some nutritional yeast - all dry/organic. Big mug, hot water, let steep a couple of minutes, stir & drink it ALL, Including the residue. It's great when away from home/traveling - you just need hot water. 👯‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️👯‍♀️

Best is Organic I presume. I contacted a major grocery store's distribution center about 7 years ago and simply asked if their herbs and spices are irradiated and they said no. I suggested they would likely sell more if the labels stated this. Short version - I did not believe them plus they never did label anything as mentioned. Not to mention all of the herbicides, pesticides and fungicides - As well as the controversy of the Apeel sprayed products.

Are gingerols in ginger better absorbed than curcumin in turmeric? Black pepper increases the absorption of curcumin but I read it does it by irritating the gut to increase gut permeability. So it doesn't seem to be such a good idea. That's why personaly I prefer to take ginger than turmeric+pepper. I'm not sure.
