OMG I am looking at this in 2020 as a potential small business craft and this is teaching me so much. I just tried to crazy glue the flower onto a hair pin. I never thought of using felt to cover more surface area on the flower and give the pin a better hold. And don't even get me started on the fact that you put 2 flowers together, that kinda blew my mind. Thank you so much.
I'm dressing up as Frida Kahlo for Halloween, so I bought some artificial roses and some hair clips at Michaels, but I would have never thought of doubling up the flowers, using extra glue under the green part, or adding the felt. Thank you!
Thank you for posting this -exactly what I needed! I appreciate you using a background that makes it easy to see what you're doing. Also, you're adorable and those flowers are great on you! :)
It was more of a lighting/focus issue. My newer videos look much better and I use the same camera. When I can afford it I hope to get a better camera though:)

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
They felt is just to help adhere the flower to the clip as well as keeping the glue from gluing the clip shut.
Hey! I love this DIY video, thank you for sharing. I'm just curious, what is the function of the felt that's attached to the clip itself?
