You have already done a couple of my requests. You are an amazing teacher. Methodical, organized, patient, and thorough. You have the ability to take complex arrangements and break them down into easily understandable sections for novices and then put it all back together for a complete composition. I would love to see "Hey Jude" I took my daughter and grandson to go see the Wanna Beatles last night. They are a Beatles cover band that plays here in Nashville, where I live. This is definitely Music City. I have seen so many wonderful acts here over the years. Also, I can't thank you enough again for your tutorial on "Woman" by John Lennon. This was a wonderful tribute to my late wife. I am proud to say I can finally play the whole song
Definitely planning on Hey Jude! I'm saving it for when I release my next course because theres a specific Idea in it I want to reference, but I'm hoping to release it in June!
What a FANTASTIC one to follow the recent Carly Simon tutorial (I am going to assume you know that they were once married; right?). They were a match made in heaven as musicians, but obviously not as a couple. I continue to be impressed with the "extras" you add that truly make any piano version only song, sound remarkably authentic to the original recording; I can't wait to learn this one too. Nate, you really are the "Piano Tutorial Teaching Genius" --- You know that, right? 😂😍❤
You are helping me so much with your song choices, I’m part of a jamming group with professional guitarists and drummers but I’m the novice keyboardist and your tutorials are perfect for me
Thanks for uploading this Nate, I was literally trying to find a tutorial for this yesterday! Can't wait to learn this one, absolute classic :D. Cheers, Dave (from Australia)
Super glad I found this channel. Most of the other options on You Tube assume solo playing or basically playing a melody in the right hand. Not nearly as much out there for those of us who need to work in an accompaniment mode with a singer or band setting. If you keep a wish list I'd like to add non taditional/piano songs like Otherside and Californican by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. But all your videos are helpful - thanks again.
This is awesome to hear...that's definitely the context in which I always learned songs, and I'm glad other people are on that page. Definitely would love to do some RHCP, good call!
@@PianowithNate OK at the risk of highballing you another one I think would be great for piano but as I hear it now has none in it is Down by the River - Neil Young. Tom Petty as well - but I won't get started as I could fill up the whole thread with songs I think are great for the setting. I responded to your email where from when I got the download for Fire and Rain.
Love your work on these and appreciate the time it takes. A small critique. I struggle anyway, About the time I "sort of" feel like I kind am getting it you instantly throw in another way, and another way and now and another way I'm confused again. Let me learn the song, and at the end thrown in the embellishment stuff so I can choose if I can do it, or not or add it or not. Apolgies if it sounds overly critical, I think you're great. :)
Nice tutorial, could you please do a tutorial for The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Any More by The Walker Bothers as there's no piano tutorials out there for the song and I believe you could come up with a good piano accompaniment for the track!
I really need a Lonely Days - Bee Gees tutorial! I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find it! Edit; I also can’t learn from anyone else, you make this much easier 😅
@PianowithNate great tutorial in all seriousness. This song is a lullaby I sing to my 5 year old daughter and I want to teach it to her on piano. Thanks for putting it up!
i turned a music student on to this...til i heard"pinky" way too much !!! fyi...in piano it is 5th not p... i been a musician so long i cannot even say it....
I use finger numbers and casual language interchangeably in my videos. I like to keep my videos approachable for self taught beginners...never been a fan of gatekeeping the joy of playing music

You know, I did know that of course, but the sequencing here was coincidental (maybe subconscious!). Thanks as always for all your kind words :)
