Minor correction - the officer actually said stopping violence is everyone's responsibility.
Thats not minor, the video is making it look like PLA is starting to engage in riot control or something
I think no western style media would say it as a mistake instead of a correct-mistake as what they just want non-mandarin-speakers think as that kindof misleading translation.

@SkuraZZ Ughh, deep words there friend. It hit right to the heart of the problem.
They’re helping you clear up the roadblocks these protesters have left behind. At least express some gratitude... Or would you rather see the entire population stuck in horrible traffic and unable to commute? Some yellow ribbons seem to be blindly condemning any actions carried out by anyone except pro-movement supporters. Look forward the results, protesters destroyed our city , ccp(PLA) soldiers clean it
You should see the video clips of what happens when an individual citizen tries to clear up a deserted roadblock.....The only one spared (minus shining powerful lasers in her eyes and harassment) was an elderly woman. Then the pathetic contrast when white expat does the same thing.

That’s not true, they don’t attack people randomly off the bat just for violence, it’s what the media paints the image of the police in Hong Kong
@Jiahao Shu is it illegal to protest and is it legal to beat the protesters to the pulp by the armed police despite of knowing the conflict happened in the mtr station?
@Jiahao Shu could you explain about a man stabbing a teenager for spreading pamphlates? smh

This is sad. I've actually been reading this on the news sites and I think only Time mentioned that the riotors threw a bomb at the cleaners, and it was buried half way down the page in details. That's what rest of world doesn't understand, the bulk of the support for protests particularly the radical violent separatists lies in under 30 crowd (many families in Hong Kong are fiercely divided).
