  • I've added up what it would cost you to get the "naked" tool and add in the accessories you would need. Buy the kit hundreds less than buying it piece by piece. I have and use the Long Neck version.

I really like my RUPES Nano W/iBrid Tech. great tool. If you want the best get Rupes polishers even if you are a DIY person, can't go wrong. IMO.

as an owner of the long neck version of this tool, i can only give you one advice when you think about buying this tool: go get the full set or leave it be. because you want to try out the diffrent options this tool offers you in the long run anyway ;) I paid waaay more buying all the pieces separatly ... if you buy only the maschine, you don't even get the power cord ... you have to get it all seperatly and pay even more if you gotten the whole set directly in the first place. Great overview of this tool Matt.

Agreed. It adds up really quickly. The kit is 100% the way to go.

Two things with the Nano. The speed selector needs detents because the knob moves when is being used. For example: I set it up to speed three and after a few passes it jump to four. Why they didn't put that huge power supply at the other end of the cable? It makes the tool heavier and cumbersome.

I’d love an nano to go with my LHR15 mk2 and 75e but can’t justify the cost for polishing the two cars in my household. I already had a lightweight rotary so just got some 1-2” spot pads and extension for that . Does the job for me. The nano is great though.

Sounds like now that they offer a naked tool, people on the fence can grab the Long Neck full kit and a naked Short Neck if they love it and want that extra option in their arsenal.
